At the start of our day I told my husband, you know that "buying a new vehicle is my least favorite thing to do". The thought of shopping, dealing with the sales people and making the decision makes me shud "buying a new vehicle is my least favorite thing to do". The thought of shopping, dealing with the sales people and making the decision makes me shudder. I did not start out to shop at Tropical Ford or to even by a Ford. My last four vehicles have been Toyotas. After driving the new larger Tundra, I decided to test drive a Ford F150. We stopped at Tropical Ford. I'm glad we did. I walked the lot and nothing popped out at me. We were not bombared with salepersons!!! We walked to the showroom to have a hot dog (they were cooking out front for Memorial Day weekend). The MANAGER was cooking! After a nice conversation, he asked what we were looking for and asked Jose to go search the trucks for what I was looking to see. Jose came back with a beautiful truck. It had all the bells and whistles. This was the easy part. I'm not a "bells and whistles" kind of lady (and not a Ford lady either). We went for a test drive. It was a great ride. Still the easy part! The hard part that Jose nailed was selling me with out selling me!! Jose stayed with us the whole time but was never pushy. I could tell he loved his job. He was patient with my questions and had all the answers. My comment on my experience is, "Jose turned my least favorite thing to do into a good experience." I will return when I'm ready for my next vehicle. More
