This is how car buying should be! I had a wonderful experience at Ewald’s Hartford Ford, and especially with Joseph Schellinger. Joseph was very knowledgeable about the vehicle he show I had a wonderful experience at Ewald’s Hartford Ford, and especially with Joseph Schellinger. Joseph was very knowledgeable about the vehicle he showed me, which was a 12 passenger Ford Transit 350. Not exactly a common vehicle, but Joseph was able to answer every question that I had- which was not the case at other dealerships. The negotiation process went smoothly- I was able to get what I felt was terrific value for the vehicle without having an uncomfortable conversation about it. The atmosphere is very relaxed and there is none of the undesirable pressure that so many car sellers impose. Ewald did a fantastic job detailing the vehicle and nailed every request I made. This is a team of people that definitely wants to turn customers into clients, and I can say unquestionably they have done so with me. Joseph Schellinger is outstanding and I can’t recommend him and Ewald’s Hartford Ford enough! More

The Sales rep Joe called me Wednesday evening to find out what I all needed in my F-150, found a couple trucks that fit, and had them there and ready for me to look at Friday afternoon. Very responsive. Ewald's beat the other dealer on trade in offer for my vehicle that I was trading in by 31 %, and beat the other dealer's negotiated price by 7 % overall/out-the-door for a nearly identical truck. The negotiating process was cordial and fast. No need to twist arms or have a long and drawn out back and forth over making a deal. More
