We recently purchased a Jeep Wrangler from Dick's CJDR of Wilsonville and unfortunately what should have been an exciting experience became one of the most frustrating vehicle purchases we've ever made. The problems started during the sales process with contradictory information about optional add-ons and financing. We were told different things by different employees regarding down payment limits, and it felt as though accurate information only emerged after we challenged what we were being told. The situation deteriorated further when attempting to follow up on commitments that had been made before the sale. Rather than receiving clear answers, we encountered assumptions, conflicting information, and an apparent lack of communication between staff members. What should have been straightforward customer service became an argument. The most disappointing part was how concerns were handled by management. During one discussion, I was lectured about an employee's personal circumstances rather than my concerns being addressed. A sales manager also attempted to argue with me about Oregon's one-party call recording laws, threatened legal action, and focused on that issue instead of resolving outstanding matters relating to the purchase. What should have been a professional conversation became unnecessarily confrontational. To their credit, Shawn Clancy, the General Sales Manager, eventually stepped in, apologized for our experience, arranged a service appointment, secured the missing second key, and handled our concerns professionally. Without his involvement, this review would likely be one star. We ultimately spent more than $30,000 on a vehicle and left feeling stressed, belittled, and disappointed. Purchasing a car should be an exciting experience, but this one was overshadowed by poor communication, lack of accountability, and unprofessional conduct from several members of the sales team. If you're considering buying a vehicle here, I would strongly recommend dealing directly with senior management from the outset. More

I went to Dick’s to get the supposed free “Engine Fire Recall” work done. After my van was in their shop for 6 hours they called me to say they were going to charge me to remove and re- install the afterm Recall” work done. After my van was in their shop for 6 hours they called me to say they were going to charge me to remove and re- install the aftermarket skid plate. This is about a 10 minute job (5 easily accessible bolts). This meant that my “free recall fix”, due to Dodges failure, was now going to cost me money. This and the fact that they wanted an extra 3% if I used a credit card to pay were signs that I was dealing with a “nickel and dime, low budget operation”. I chose Dick’s because they were the closest dealer to me and I was looking for a shop to do the maintenance and repair on my recently purchased Promaster camper van. I will be looking elsewhere.
