I was very pleased with our salesperson. My experience with financing was mostly okay, but I felt less than satisfied. After signing many pages of a sales agreement, I handed over a person My experience with financing was mostly okay, but I felt less than satisfied. After signing many pages of a sales agreement, I handed over a personal check and it was abruptly handed back to me because it had an old out of state address on it. I was not informed that my personal check had to have my current address printed on it until after spending 5 hours at the dealership. Okay, it was an honest oversight, but the corrective action by management was handled less than professionally. The sign that is buried behind clutter in everyone's desk says "no out of state checks". Regardless of what address my check showed, it's a Band of America check under an account that is in state. What the sign intended to say is a personal check should show an in state address. I understand the dealership has no obligation to accept a personal check, but management argued that my check was out of state, which is incorrect, And most importantly, management did not handle the hiccup delicately, beginning with how my check was abruptly returned to me. More
