Quality of work is not always guaranteed. The Service Center is typically overbooked, so technicians are scrambling to reduce demand. The result is they miss the attention to detail. Problems I have experienced include missing valve stem covers during tire rotations, failing to reset the change oil monitor, and finding tools left in my vehicle. If you are military, make sure you let them know that because at the service department, they will not let you know of discounts accepted. More

I came in on Thursday to make an appointment for my two vehicles which was pretty easy, and got to make both appointments for Friday. My first appointment was at 11am. They checked me in and took my vehicl vehicles which was pretty easy, and got to make both appointments for Friday. My first appointment was at 11am. They checked me in and took my vehicle straight to the back. It wasn't long when my truck was ready and I was on my way. My second appointment was at 2pm and it went a little differently. At 3:15 I went up to the counter and asked if they forgot about my vehicle. Margherita sent a text and a minute later my other truck was headed to the back. By 3:45 she came and got me from the waiting room. Due to waiting so long, Margherita made it right. No, I didn't have anything planned for the day other than getting my vehicles inspected, but Margherita knew that I shouldn't have been waiting that long. Plus, the hot chocolate was pretty good. I have had several disappointing events with Southern Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Newport News. In the spring, I brought our Durango in for an oil change and tire rotation. When we got the car back there wer Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Newport News. In the spring, I brought our Durango in for an oil change and tire rotation. When we got the car back there were two lug nuts missing on one tire! We recently dropped it of after-hours for a state inspection and oil change. When we dropped it off, there were no after-hours envelopes available. We went to a neighboring dealer to grab one of their envelopes! They had the car all day and we only heard from them at 4PM about the car. They said the car would need $3,500 of work in order to pass the state inspection. Since we needed the car for the next day and it was so late in the day, we asked to get the car back without doing the work. When we picked it up, we found that they also forgot about doing the oil change! How can they have the car all day and not do the state inspection earlier so that if work was required there would be time to get it done within the same day? How could they also forgot to add an oil change? We scheduled the service appointment on-line well in advance. It seems like they just sat on it all day and didn't look at it until late in the day as evidenced by the fact that they still had the car in the bay when we got there to pick it up and had to move 2 other cars in order to get ours out to us. They have lost us as customers, and we are going somewhere else from now on. More
