Evan was in contact with me and let me know what was going on with my son's Elantra every step of the way. They didn't try to rip us off here like they tried to at Hyundai of Noblesville!!! If I could give ZERO stars, I would. I came in for my 15,000 mile oil change on my 2021 Hyundai Tucson, and to have an issue with my back hatch diagnosed. I explained to the servi I came in for my 15,000 mile oil change on my 2021 Hyundai Tucson, and to have an issue with my back hatch diagnosed. I explained to the service advisor that I was moving back to St Louis at the end of the month, and just wanted to know why the hatch was having difficulty opening and closing, that if it weren't a simple fix, I would have it taken care of when I returned home. A different service advisor came out and told me that I needed almost $500 in additional services: Replace in Cabin Air Filter $75.99 A/C Evaporator Service $189.99 Complete Fuel System Service $194.99 I have searched my owners manual and I have called 10 other dealerships to ask if this was standard maintenance. I do not see these in the list of Hyundai maintenance items, and not one of the other dealerships would recommend them for a vehicle with only 15,000 miles. He also told me that it would take two weeks for the parts to fix my hatch to come in. I advised that I would be in the middle of moving, so would have the repair completed at home. They did the oil change, I collected my vehicle and left the dealership. But that is the least of my issues. I had to travel more than an hour to get to the closest Hyundai dealership. After I left, I stopped for a late lunch and then began my trip home. When I was more than 45 minutes out of Lafayette, I received a call from the second service advisor. He informed me that they had removed the strut from my hatch. I pulled over and attempted to open my hatch. It would not move! They expected me to drive there and back an additional time because of their mistake. I am grateful to be moving back home, but even more so that I won't ever have to cross the door of this dealership ever again. More
