We drove 45 minutes to Frederick to visit another dealership to look at a Hyundai Kona we were interested in. We didn’t have a great experience and considered going home before visiting Ideal Hyundai dealership to look at a Hyundai Kona we were interested in. We didn’t have a great experience and considered going home before visiting Ideal Hyundai on a whim. We were greeted by our salesperson Julian and he’s definitely the reason we stayed and purchased a car. He was kind, helpful and easygoing. He did not make us feel pressured whatsoever and made us feel more like friends. He was well informed about the two models we were interested in and willing to find out anything we wanted to know that he wasn’t sure of. He was beyond patient with us as we went back and forth between the Kona and the Venue. We finally settled on the Venue for a lot of reasons including our budget and we appreciated the transparent breakdown of charges for the vehicle. It didn’t feel like there were any “hidden fees” we weren’t made aware of. After making our decision we had to wait for someone in finance to become available because they were busy but we didn’t mind at all because it’s such a welcoming environment with comfortable chairs, clean bathrooms and delicious coffee! Something the previous dealership we visited did not have. The manager Denny stopped by to chat with us with some basic financial questions while we waited and he was great! We shared some funny stories and he was willing to help us with whatever we needed. Bill in finance is the real deal. He was honest and upfront about everything including warranties, maintenance, payments, etc. Even after a long day, he didn’t make us feel rushed or pressured into making a decision. Our salesperson Julian stayed well after closing time to make sure we had a good experience and walked us out to our new car that he had detailed and filled with a full tank of gas. We went into this experience expecting to play the “car buying game” like negotiating and intimidation, but we were surprised we didn’t have to do any of that. Instead, we were allowed to sit in the vehicles we were looking at for as long as we needed which made us feel comfortable and helped us make a decision along with the wonderful staff at this location. This was by far the easiest car buying experience and I’d recommend them to anyone! Thank you for all of your help! We love our new car. More
