Took vehicle to Mercedes and they said the dealer you purchased from needs to fix this. I texted the issue to my sales guy and he sent a thumbs up emoji… forward to today i get error messages that my lights are not working. Absolutely disappointing to get this kind of treatment from dealership. New Mercedes headlight $3000 for 1 Brakes were also stated that it was in good condition. They are squeezing and bad stopping distance another $600 without labor. This is not what you look for after you purchase a vehicle through a dealership that does a “100”+ point inspection. More

There were numerous problems with my Jim Ellis experience. When I ordered the car (CT4-V Blackwing), they estimated a 6-7 month wait for the car (it ended up being 13 months). The salesperson (who experience. When I ordered the car (CT4-V Blackwing), they estimated a 6-7 month wait for the car (it ended up being 13 months). The salesperson (who no longer works there) was unwilling or unable to tell me how many allocations the dealer got per month and where I stood on their internal wait list to get an allocation. Later, my salesperson left Jim Ellis, and the dealership never informed me that she left, and didn't assign another salesperson to me until I called several times asking what was going on. When the car did finally come in and I went to pick it up, the finance guy had not prepared the purchase paperwork, and actually hadn't even looked at it until I was sitting in front of him (I had been assured it was all 'ready to go'). This caused a long delay while I sat in front of his desk and he worked through it all. Additionally, there were 3 things wrong with the car at pick-up: 1) the all-weather floor mats, which I ordered and paid extra for, were not in the car; 2) black lug nuts, which I ordered and paid extra for, were not installed on the car; and 3) the front spring spacers, which are installed for shipping only, had not been removed. The dealer was able to find some of the floor mats for me in short order, so I at least left with those. They found some black lug nuts, and just gave them to me in a box, requiring me to drive back across town a few days later to have them installed. I did not discover that the front spring spacers were still on the car for several weeks. (I discovered this myself - somehow the car had made it through Jim Ellis's pre-delivery prep AND the additional dealer visit for lug nut swap, and nobody had caught it). I asked Jim Ellis to coordinate with a Cadillac dealer much closer to my house to remove them. Jim Ellis would not do this for me. I called the other dealer myself and worked it out with them to complete as a warranty job. Additionally, I was not impressed with the product knowledge shown by the Jim Ellis employees. For example, I originally ordered the car as a 2022 model with the 'Carbon Fiber 1' package. The car, however, was built as a 2023 model, and this package was not offered on 2023 cars. I had to explain all of this to my salesperson and then later to the finance person, so they'd remove the $4K+ charge for this package from my final purchase order. And one final headache: I've had the car for almost 6 weeks and I'm still waiting for them to give me the lug adapter for my security lugs. More
