My wife and I have been a Honda CRV owner for a very long time. My wife has owned 3-Honda CRV and I have owned 2 including the current CRV Hybrid model - all purchased from Goudy Honda. (FYI - Up until 200 time. My wife has owned 3-Honda CRV and I have owned 2 including the current CRV Hybrid model - all purchased from Goudy Honda. (FYI - Up until 2006, I have been exclusively a Toyota owner), Goudy's service department is also very excellent. The catalytic converter on my 2006 Honda CRV, (97,000 miles on the odometer), was stolen and Dane Ishii, Goudy service consultant, was unable to locate genuine Honda replacement parts within the entire United States. My insurance company subsequently total loss the 2006 CRV because of lack of genuine parts and the uncertain repair costs approaching the CRV's FMV. Dane subsequently introduced me to Kate Sasomsup, Goudy sales representative. At first, I was looking for a pre-owned gasoline model Honda. Kate work with me on Goudy's existing pre-owned gasoline inventory. At this time gasoline prices were going through the roof, approaching almost $10 a gallon and California pushing for all EV's by the year 2035. I decided to purchase a CRV Hybrid model, which is 45% more than what I wanted to spend for a gasoline Honda model. Kate was able to find me a new CRV EX Hybrid within 30-days. Kate told me she has been with Goudy for only 7-months, after leaving her insurance agency, which she built up herself. For the short time Kate has been with the auto sales industry, she has developed superior professional sales skills, along with superior knowledge of the product she is trying to sell. The greatest attribute that I experienced was her honesty and respect for her customers. I personally don't like auto salespeople, in general, because they always oversell products and very greedy on the mark-ups, wasting customers time. Yes, Kate did solicit me for other products, but not in an aggressive manner. Actually, I shopped 3-Honda dealerships (including Goudy) and found Kate was proposing/quoting very reasonable prices. Kate over at Goudy Honda was exceptional in the past when our daughter bought her new Honda last year. So we decided it was time for our new car and Kate actually ordered it for us. Kates middle name has to our daughter bought her new Honda last year. So we decided it was time for our new car and Kate actually ordered it for us. Kates middle name has to be ‘customer service’ and we were in constant contact. We made an appointment and the car was ready, beautiful and full of gas. Kate had a efficient handle on our needs and our documentation was perfect. Kate spent time going over all the new kool options these Hondas come with and took care of us every step of the way.
