It wasn't leaking before the oil change so the technician should have checked it closer before taking it out the door. The max PSI stamped on the tire is 44. 45 is beyond the maximum limit and this could have caused a catastrophic incident if the tire would have blown while driving the car. This incident could have placed the dealership in a predicament. Setting the tire PSI beyond manufacturer limits places the safety of the occupants and other people on the road in jeopardy. Recommend addressing how much air the mechanics put into the tire to remain within manufacturer limits and safety of the occupants. Another recommendation is to have someone other than the mechanic conduct quality checks of the mechanic’s work prior to releasing the vehicle back to the owner. More
