We had been to several other dealerships in the St. Louis area and we Our recent purchase with Keith Boerding and John Wesley was a great experience. We had been to several other dealerships in the St. Louis area and were beginning to lose faith. While we have bought numerous cars in the past and had good experiences, we had never ran into such a string of unfriendly, arrogant, and unhelpful dealers as we did this year. That was, until we came to Sunset Ford, and met with Keith. Keith was friendly and helpful from the time we spoke on the phone. He was low pressure, and seemed to truly care about us. He even worked out the closing details to meet with our crazy schedule. The sale was easy, but the vehicle needed a few items completed to be ready for pick up. That's where the manager, John Wesley, came in. John went to great lengths to get the vehicle ready for us in minimal time, and took great care to ensure that our needs were not only met, but exceeded. He was friendly, supportive, and really helped make the entire process run smoothly. During the payment process, we worked with Treff LaPlant. He was very nice. In paying for the vehicle, I inadvertantly forgot to include $0.43 in payment. Without skipping a beat, Treff took some change from his drawer, and deposited it into the envelope - without saying a word. I asked him about it, and after pressing, he admitted that he was making up the $0.43 shortfall in my payment. Wow...that was very nice. It's not much money, but it was attitude that was impressive. I would not hesitate to purchase another car from Sunset Ford, or recommend these individuals to a friend. Thanks! More

Best Car Salesman I’ve ever had! Keith is different from some pushy car salesman; He lets you decide if the car is really what you want. He is trustworthy. He caught an issue with my pre-owned Honda and managed to order the parts from the dealer and had it installed in one day! I was very impressed, if that wasn't for him, I wouldn't possibly notice the issue. He provides excellent service. He contacted Enterprise for me to make sure that I could return my rental car in time, yet didn't have to wait too long for the repair job to be done. I can't ask for more, this is the very first time I feel that I can actually trust a car salesman. Highly recommended!! Purchasing a car from him, you can have a peace of mind. More

I did have to wait a little bit even though I had a scheduled test drive but, the staff was friendly and the wait wasn't terrible. I loved the car I test drove and ended up buying it. After I bought the car I was told they only had one key for the car. Not a big deal as I am the only driver and will have another key made soon. I was told that the car would be filled up with gas. I left the lot because I had to get home and get ready for work, when I realized I had a little under half a tank. I ended up filling it myself. This was the only thing that bothered me a little about my entire experience. It wasn't anything major. It happens. Mr. Keith Boerding was great. Even calling my insurance company to make sure it was okay to leave the lot. I did appreciate that. This was my time first car experience and I would come back to get another car in the future. More

He was pleasant to work with and was able to work out a price that me and my family could afford. Sunset ford even did some extra fixings on my new truck days after I bought it just to make sure I was satisfied. Amazing! This was my first time buying a car and I was basically clueless on all of it except what car I wanted, my 2013 Explorer Sport was everything I wanted This was my first time buying a car and I was basically clueless on all of it except what car I wanted, my 2013 Explorer Sport was everything I wanted and more. We pulled into the lot and Keith met us outside with the key for our test drive and lets just say, the car was perfect. This process was smooth with Keith and he made sure after all the paperwork was done and finalized that he showed us everything inside the car and how to use it, THANK GOD! I really thought this process would be like pulling teeth to buy a car but he made it the easiest process ever. Sunset Ford has my business and will be the only ford dealership I use! More

I didn't close the deal 'til Sunset. I was searching dealers on line for a pre-owned SUV and came across a freshly traded-in 05 TrailBlazer in the price range I was looking for and with t I was searching dealers on line for a pre-owned SUV and came across a freshly traded-in 05 TrailBlazer in the price range I was looking for and with the amenities I needed. Mr. Boerding was in the lot when I pulled in and helped me through every step of the process very professionally. He helped me above and beyond what was expected and to coin a phrase from one of your competitors, (there were a few things that weren't right) "He made them right!"
