I reached out to over 10 dealerships, mostly with no response, which was disappointing. Then came an e-mail from Sonny Patel (general manager at New Century) with a great offer. After a few friendly email exchanges and a phone call (Sonny was warm, direct, and very helpful), we were in their dealership that night to do the paperwork. After welcoming us and confirming terms, Sonny introduced us to Ken Chau who took over. It was already late, certainly well past his typical ending time. But you couldn't see it in his positive demeanor. With enthusiasm and attentiveness, Ken showed us the vehicles that were available to us, answered our questions, and anticipated questions that maybe we hadn't thought to ask. The truth is that we are high maintenance customers and probably aren't the easiest to deal with. But Ken seemed truly grateful to have us at his dealership from the moment we met until the end of the night when we drove off in our new 530i. It was the most pleasant car buying / leasing experience I've ever had and this includes a history with luxury vehicles where dealerships strive for a VIP treatment. I intend to refer friends and family to Ken. He is transparent, ready to bend over backwards to make you happy, and committed to his craft. And he provides excellent experience in a way that isn't overbearing - it really is just an extension of his inviting and warm personality. Customer service like this can't be taught - it's innate. To be clear, Sonny was excellent as well but understandably, with his management duties, he had to disappear for parts of the transaction. He did go out of his way to find me some bags to put personal items in because we were trading in an old X5 as part of the transaction. And lastly, I should note that the finance professional was very good as well. We just wanted to get done with the paperwork (it was late) and he was accommodating, professional and funny. He is kind, patient and is not a pushy seller - I absolutely hate going into dealerships to purchase a car because if this fact but with Ken it is always so personable and seamless. I was in the market and ready to purchase a macan turbo as I had just turned in my x5 lease and wanted to purchase my next car while trying a new brand. I was set in my decision until I test drove the x5 again and concluded that this would be the best option for me long term. He helped me weigh the pros and cons of each vehicle from an absolutely unbiased opinion which I loved - never once did he say bmw was better than or less than- he asked me questions to help me make an informed decision about my next purchase and I’m so happy that he was able to help me see that my purchase was the absolute right decision. I can’t thank him enough for his honesty, and kind character. He’s wonderful and I will always be a loyal customer to him when purchasing for myself or recommending someone else to purchase a bmw. His communication is on point and you never feel threatened or pushed into doing anything you don’t want to. Thank you Ken!! He helps you find what you need and works with you to make sure you will be comfortable and happy with the car you get. I love these cars and the service just tops it all off with the experience I have here. You really can’t compared this dealership to any other dealership around, because they care and will work with you to ensure you’re happy with every little detail; from car options to payments. Not to mention, they don’t waste any of your time; each step of the way is efficient and straight to the point. Ken will go above and beyond to find what you need, I can’t think of a reason why I would stop getting my cars here. More
