A dealership willing to go the extra 1,700 miles I cannot stress enough how happy I am to do business with Murfreesboro Hyundai Volkswagen. When you talk about a business going the extra mile they we I cannot stress enough how happy I am to do business with Murfreesboro Hyundai Volkswagen. When you talk about a business going the extra mile they went above and beyond… for me and my wife they actually went an extra 1,700 miles. You see my wife and I live in Billings, Montana. We had a problem getting the vehicle we wanted at the price we wanted in Montana. The fine folks at Murfreesboro Hyundai Volkswagen in Tennessee learned of our dilemma and reached out to us to help. At first, we were skeptical they would be able to help us as we were so far away. But boy did they come through! They found us the Red 2019 Kona SEL we wanted. They had it shipped from a dealership in Kentucky to their dealership in Tennessee. Once they had it they cleaned it up and had it shipped to our front door in Montana! You are probably thinking that we were silly to work with a dealership so far from home and that we probably spent a lot more to buy our vehicle this way. You may be surprised to learn we actually saved $4,000 dollars by working with them. We financed through another company and we declined the dealer extras, but still they worked with us. So how does buying from so far away work? Well, they made it very easy for us. We paid a $500 deposit to show we were serious buyers then they secured the car from Kentucky. Once they had it they sent us our paperwork overnight through UPS. We spoke with their finance director by phone and went through everything together. They answered all of our questions and get this… they told us to wait to submit our payment until we had our vehicle here in Montana and had a chance to look at it and make sure it was everything we expected. I am sure Murfreesboro Hyundai Volkswagen does enough business in their own backyard that they could have just went about their business as usual… but they saw an opportunity to help us so far away and they seized it. Now how did they hear of our problem in the first place? Well in full disclosure; one of their salesmen is my wife’s uncle. He knew we’d been looking for a while and he knew we recently had a bad experience in Montana. It was he who went to his manager and shared our story. His manager didn’t blink an eye and asked how they could help? That’s how it all started. If this dealership is willing to go the extra 1,700 miles to help us, I can only imagine what they will do for those in their own backyard. We’ll be looking to add another vehicle in 2020. I don’t know what it will be just yet, but I do know from where it will come. Murfreesboro Hyundai Volkswagen you guys have made a raving fan out of me. Our salesman Ken Stevenson is the best we have ever had. He took time to explain and demo how to set all the features up that was on the car before we ever drove it. Then he explained how all the safety features would work as we drove. First class demo. Then the purchasing of the SUV was easy and stress free taking very little time. The price was fair and we are extremely happy with our experience and purchase. If you are in the market for a vehicle I would recommend Ken to anyone and feel you would be pleased with the way you were treated. More
