I get that selling used cars is a difficult endeavor in today’s unrealistic and something for nothing world, but just know honesty is always the best policy. Allowing people the right to make their own choice with all the information available is the right policy, specifically when it is asked for and legally permissible to for them to have. A good salesman can share the information and still know how to sell that car on its merits Omitting information either due to lack of integrity or poor due diligence so one can claim plausible deniability comes across as dishonesty whether it is or isn’t. Theres no industry where caveat emptor is more relevant than in buying a used car. If someone ask for information that is rightfully there’s to see then give it to them when they ask don’t make them have to ask multiple times. This isn’t an indictment on my salesperson per se more an indictment on my experiences as a vehicle consumer in general. My experience was pleasant for the most part everyone was friendly and I feel like I got a fair to good deal barring any issues with the vehicle in the near future. More
