They turned a bad experience into a great one I posted a review a few days ago about a frustrating and unsatisfactory experience with this dealership purchasing a used 2019 RAV4, however today I a I posted a review a few days ago about a frustrating and unsatisfactory experience with this dealership purchasing a used 2019 RAV4, however today I am writing a new review about the great service I received. Clearly they dropped the ball with my experience but as soon as the sales manager Mike Nasrat got involved he immediately set about to right my experience. They did indeed correct all of the paperwork and get it send over to me and today when I went to the dealership to have the Zurich shield applied they had a very nice sales rep who specializes in tech to take me through all of the systems of the car and taught me how to set everything up. Mike told me that they were very sorry about the missteps in my experience and that if i needed anything else in the future I should call him directly. At least they recognized the situation and took every step to rectify my problems and change my experience. I now have a totally different opinion of this dealership and will continue to use them to service my car. I do really love my new RAV4 especially since I now know about all of the wonderful features. More

The sales guy belittled me over the phone but I went in anyway because I was looking for a used car in a specific price range. He over acted during the test drive- grabbing the top passenger handle with both hands, again insinuating that I could not drive the vehicle. I almost walked out, but then I thought his poor behavior had nothing to do with the quality of vehicle. Unfortunately he did manage to ruin the rest of the buying process. I asked if he could check my financials and see if they had a payment plan in my price range. He kept shoving a monthly amount at me and refused to answer my questions about interest rate and length of loan. He said only the finance department could answer those questions. But before I could speak with finance he had to make sure I was able to get the correct coverage for the car. I've bought a few cars before and no dealer ever sat me on their phone to get coverage- they send you home with the minimums and you come back with a policy at pick up. He insisted that could not be done in Pennsylvania. He and a coworker also tried to convince me that even if I gave them the downpayment and signed the financing paperwork the car would not be mine until they decide to release the vehicle to me. The reason it costs more to buy a used car from a dealership than a private seller is because the dealer is supposed to recondition the car. That absolutely did not happen here. I had the car a week and the oil change light went on. After 2 months the brakes needed to be replaced. And the wipers. And the air filter. Not from a service center out for money but by my own assessment and the cars sensors. NOTHING was reconditioned in this car. They didn't even look at it. The service records AND the previous owner's motor vehicle records were still in it. And of course even though I specifically asked about the airbag recall, and that lying SOB said any recalls were taken care of at the other dealer in the group, I just received a notice as the new owner that the recall has not been taken care of for my car. When I finally got to financing they lied directly to my face. He asked me to sign for my warranty, but this was an older used car that didn't come with a warranty. He then said he needed me to sign to reject an additional tire hazard warranty. Then he said a 3 year warranty was included in the price of the car. Since I only ever agreed to one price I specifically asked if the warranty was included in that price and he said YES. It was not. He hid the warranty cost on a line called financing products. They also never gave me any other paperwork saying my car cost me more than the price agreed upon. But when I picked up the car they handed me a multi page document with my electronic signature they collected filling in all the lines. And there I finally saw the nasty tricks they played. They charged me 1500 for that warranty and also for a one year service contract. I NEVER agreed to that either. I live in another state. I'm not driving 5 hours to have my oil changed. Overall this is the worst car buying experience I have ever had. PLEASE avoid this place. There are other cars out there. More

I ended up purchasing a Toyota car at Sloane in Philadelphia instead due to availability of a certain model. Kevin still followed up a few days later to ask how I liked the new car and if I had any questions on the features and their operation. A breath of fresh air in an industry where I have had prior less than desirable experiences. More
