Concerned about a possible alternator failure before our long drive home to San Antonio, we went to Bolton Ford in Lake Charles, LA. Instead of running a diagnostic, service rep Caleb Voizin simply tested the battery, dismissed our concerns, and assured us we were “good to go” because “Ford makes good alternators.” Hours later, in a two-lane construction zone with no shoulder, our truck lost all power — no hazard lights, no windows — leaving us stranded in live traffic. My husband and I had to jump over a concrete barrier to avoid being hit by 18-wheelers. We had the truck towed to Cavender Ford in Columbus, TX, where staff treated us with empathy and professionalism — a stark contrast to Bolton Ford’s indifference. The service manager at Bolton Ford, Jonny, acknowledged seeing the alerts in FordPass, yet denied any wrongdoing or reimbursement for the $292 tow, $107 hotel, and other expenses. No apology, no concern for our safety, and no commitment to improve training. Ford promotes “doing what’s right the first time,” but Bolton Ford failed us in every way — risking our lives, ruining our trip, and refusing accountability. If you value safety, thorough diagnostics, and basic customer care, avoid Bolton Ford at all costs. More

Get it done fast and get the buyer off the books. A 57 k truck is just another truck you sell. Although the prices of these trucks are quite intimidating, Chad reassured from the start on how these trucks sell themselves. The price increases due to the luxury and features incorporated in them. Whatever features are not beneficial, he was positive to find us the exact fit. When I asked questions, Chad had the right answers. I could tell immediately his knowledge came deeper than career training. He had detailed information specific to year, make, and model of vehicles in comparison to not only Ford products, along with personal experiences and statistics. He spoke with absolutely no hesitation and confidence about his product. His customer communication skills are outstanding.
