Transparent, comfortable shopping experience My wife and I were thinking of replacing our 2009 Honda CR-V with a new car, but we were not in a hurry to do so. Our son travels a lot for work and o My wife and I were thinking of replacing our 2009 Honda CR-V with a new car, but we were not in a hurry to do so. Our son travels a lot for work and often rents different brands of cars. He recommended Subaru products as it was his favorite to drive. My wife and I went to Camelback Subaru after seeing they had the particular Forester model/options/accessories my wife wanted in stock. We had already driven the Forester at another dealership and decided it was the car we wanted. That dealership had the exterior/interior color that I liked at a price I thought was reasonable, but my wife really wanted a different combination. This dealership did not have her color combination in stock, nor could they obtain it from another dealership. I made a deal with her that if we could find her combination at another dealership at the same or better price, we would get it. After getting home, I sent out emails to other dealerships as well as sending out more TrueCar requests. Within a few minutes, I saw Camelback Subaru had at least one car that matched our criteria. A few minutes later sales manager, Kory Groters called me due to the TrueCar request and he confirmed he had several Foresters in stock which met our needs. We set up an appointment for the next morning. When we arrived, we were greeted by Kory who handed us off to sales rep, Gabe Hale. We told Gabe our requirements and we did a short test drive of one of the Foresters my wife liked. I knew the reasonable price I wanted pay and after some back and forth, they agreed to my price. After approximately 4 hours, my wife and I left Camelback Subaru in our new Forester. We also had interaction with sales rep, Dennis Le, who gave us some great Subaru swag including dog toys! Everyone we dealt with at Camelback Subaru were friendly and straightforward; at no point did we feel they were anything but transparent. From my interaction, if you are looking for a Subaru you can't go wrong with Camelback Subaru with Kory Groters, Gabe Hale and Dennis Le helping you. For what it is worth, the other dealership also treated us very well. Maybe it's a Subaru thing: Good customer service. More

David is Amazing I purchased a 2020 Subaru Ascent and David was awesome. He took time and helped me understand every feature in the car. This was my first car buying experience and I thought Camelback Subaru made it very smooth and relatively quick. Arius was persistent, but never pushy, had answers to all of my questions, and really wen Camelback Subaru made it very smooth and relatively quick. Arius was persistent, but never pushy, had answers to all of my questions, and really went above and beyond during the entire process. He was wonderful to work with. Financing was so much faster than I expected and we were even able to do it all in the late evening to accommodate our work schedules. Very happy with the whole experience and everyone I worked with! More

I was going to originally get a second opinion on my appraisal but Kory was able to offer me a great deal for my trade in and a new vehicle that I felt that it wasn't worth going to another dealership. Both Airius and Kory are down to earth and no BS type of people and I would be happy to work with them again. Tu was also a knowledgeable person and explained everything regarding the financing and optional warranties and service packages. It's a rare occasion to leave a dealership with a new car and not feel like you got ripped off. If you're in the area, at least give these guys a shot first. More

Exceeded my expectations In full disclosure, I bought a vehicle from Camelback Subaru in 2014 and had a terrible experience. I swore I would never return (not even for the fr In full disclosure, I bought a vehicle from Camelback Subaru in 2014 and had a terrible experience. I swore I would never return (not even for the free carwash they do every 6 months for 5 years), but I have been shopping for a new car for over a year now and while I have driven 12 different vehicles, from 7 different dealerships, I kept coming back to the Subaru Forester. Unfortunately, the Chandler Subaru Superstore is a total xxx. I have visited them 4 times in 1 year and walked out each time due to their complete lack of willingness to work with the customer. I was connected to Camelback through the recommendation of my bank and decided to give them another shot, purely do to Chandler's lack of competence (which is 3 miles from my home) and the positive energy and voicemail of the salesman that called me. I spoke with David Cerna, I let him know that I had a previous poor experience with the dealership and unfortunately had no trust in them. I further told him that I lived about 45 min away and didn't want to drive in to have him tell me that they won't work with me. I asked that he do as much as we can over the phone. Essentially the conversation went very well, though, at that point, I really didn't believe that what he was telling me was true. Long story short, I bought a car from him less than 24 hours later. Camelback Subaru exceeded my expectations, and more so, did everything that Chandler Subaru said wasn't possible. I love Subaru's and will probably only drive them for the rest of my life, and I am happy to know that I have a dealer, while it is a bit of a drive, that isn't a complete mess like Chandler Superstore is. While I didn't interact much with him, Te Lu, the Finance Manager I worked with was superior as well. No pressure (yes he did push the warranty a bit, but I let him know that I needed to be sold on it and asked him to), super friendly, and again, highly recommend the staff I work with and the dealership as a whole. More
