My Porsche journey began in 2013, right after finishing a grueling six-year general surgery residency. While driving from New York to Boston to begin fellowship training, I saw a 991.1 911 fly past me on the highway — and that moment changed everything. As soon as I arrived in Boston, I went to a local Porsche dealership and bought my very first brand-new 911 as a way to celebrate one of the hardest accomplishments of my life. Since then, I’ve become a lifelong Porsche enthusiast. Over the years I’ve purchased more than 20 Porsches, mostly 911s, from many different dealerships across California and beyond. Unfortunately, most experiences were average at best and often lived up to the typical dealership stereotype. Professional, yes — but rarely memorable. Porsche Woodland Hills is completely different. This is now my third purchase from them, and I can honestly say they represent everything I always wished a dealership  could be. I just bought 2 cars from Porshce Woodland Hills in a short span of 9 months. Let me just say what wonderful experiences they have been! I first went in there for a used Cayman GTS that I found in an short span of 9 months. Let me just say what wonderful experiences they have been! I first went in there for a used Cayman GTS that I found in an online ad, then I saw a brand new Cayman S hiding next to it, looking absolute gorgeous. Even I didn't plan to buy a new car, my salesman Kris helped me get a very good deal - it turned out that the new car cost even cheaper the used GTS! I never thought I would walk out there with a brand new Porshce. Unfortunately my dad got car sick on the way home, I thought it might have something to do with the manual transmission. So I told Kris I would like get an automatic instead, preferably a GTS . Kris was very understanding and kind enough to fight for me for an allocation for a GTS. Whala, I got a chance to custom build a new Porsche of my dream! During the long wait, Kris kept communicating with me about the order process and the tariff scenario, among other topics. Last week I finally picked up the Cayman GTS , but found out that it was a little short of my dream specs because the seats were not as the same as the 2-tone stitching picture shown on Porsche's configuration page. I complained to Kris about it, and you know what, after he raised it to Porsche and his boss Brian, they agreed to refund me for the cost of that option and picked a battery tender as a gift for me! That is the long and short of my experiences with Porsche Woodland Hills. They are the No. 1 Porshce dealership on the west coast and No. 2 in the U.S. You can draw your own conclusion about them. If you ever plan to buy a car from them, go look for Kris. He is not only a great salesman, but also a great father, a great husband, just a wonderful human being. Treat him with respect, he will treat you with more in return! By the way, he's the guy that got the biggest smile at the dealership! More
