On August 8, 2026, I reached out to your dealership Shottenkirk Ford of Jasper with interest in one of your 2025 preowned Expedition King Ranch. Sales Associate Kristi Stewart sent me an email and call Shottenkirk Ford of Jasper with interest in one of your 2025 preowned Expedition King Ranch. Sales Associate Kristi Stewart sent me an email and called me. She stated the vehicle had no room for negociation to be near the payment I needed to be monthly. Kristi had her General Sales Manage Jose Sueyras reach out to me. Mr. Sueyras stated the king ranch I was interested in was unable to be reduced but that he had several Expedition Platinum's in great condition with no damage and clean car fax and that i should drive up from Miami. I looked through the inventory and identified one to our interest vin number ending in A45448. I spoke to Kristi and also by text to confirm the vehicle had no damage (dents, scratches, accidents...clean car fax) She confirmed vehicle was perfect and had no damage whatsoever. I told her make sure you're 100% as I'm coming from Miami Florida and don't want any surprises or waste my time and travel expenses. She again reassured me the vehicle was perfect and had no damage and was never involved in an accident. Mr. Sueyras and I agreed on an out-of-the-door price of $76,530. The very next day wife and I drove 12 hours up to make the purchase. Upon arrival and inspection of the vehicle it was revealed it was crashed(unreported) in the front left bumper with damage and paint missing, had to major dents on the side and looked like it was keyed from the front to the back with major paint damage. All of this was clearly visible. The vehicle also was filthy. I expressed to Kristi how disappointed my wife and I were that we were deceived to drive up to see a vehicle that had a bunch of damage that can be clearly seen. She said let's try and find you another vehicle on the lot. So that our trip and travel expenses was not a waste of time we agreed. All of her preowned Expeditions had the same paint damage and filthiness inside of them with the exception of one a white 2025 expedition with 10,000 miles. We stated we wanted to purchase this one as it was the only one with out damage inside or out. She nor Mr. Sueyras would not come close to the price that we had agreed to come up for on the black one. They wanted almost $7,000 more. I told them they made us drive up knowing all their vehicles were damaged with the intent on selling us a more expensive vehicle or a new vehicle. Of course they wanted to sell us one of the damaged vehicles. So, we looked at another one vehicle vin number ending in EA38180. It also had damage on driver's side passenger door a deep scratch and also was filthy and had more miles than the origianal black one or whute one. She wanted to sell us this vehicle for same price as the other one that also had damage but less miles. We stated that was unacceptable she would not budge. I ended up calling Mr. Sueyras and we agreed on a $75,000 out the door price since they would not sell us the white one that had no damage for the price we agreed on prior to coming up. While the vehicle was being prepped, we were then sent to finance and met with Mr. Pete Specht. Prior to meeting him my wife and I had checked with several banks on finance rates for 84 months as her credit score was 827. All banks came back in writing with rates between 5.1 and 6% for 84 months. When we sat down with Mr. Specht he asked if we had any questions and I said yes, "Yes, what is the interest rate and he stated 7.49. I asked him why is that when her credit is 827 and showed him what several other banks had us approved at in writing. He stated if we wanted to buy the vehicle at the agreed price, we needed to finance them at that rate and not refinance it within 6 months or pay if off. I asked why , ...we don't have to do that. He then stated if you don't, I will increase your rate dramatically right now prior to signing the contract. I asked why because your commission is front loaded on the loan for the first 6 months. He said if we didn't agree he would increase More

Good sales tactics, terrible service after the sale. Vehicle was sold “as is” but had ant infestation, running issues, and needed an APIM computer module right after taking delivery. Finance manager h Vehicle was sold “as is” but had ant infestation, running issues, and needed an APIM computer module right after taking delivery. Finance manager had us sign a 3000 mile 3 month warranty form, but our salesperson said we had no warranty. We asked if they could help with these issues and sales rep said that they could chemically treat the truck but we probably wouldn't like the smell and we would have to leave it. She didn't address the running issue. I also asked if they could at least assist with a discount on the computer so we could install it ourselves. She said because we don't have a warranty probably not. The last thing I have asked her for is the door code so we can access the vehicle. She still hasn't gotten back to me after more than 3 weeks. When we were talking to her about the vehicle's condition, she said it was a smoke free vehicle. That turned out not to be true, as there are cigarette burns in three areas of the interior of the truck. We ended up fixing the ant issue and the running issue by cleaning the throttlebody. We also spent hours deep detailing the interior of the truck to eliminate the odor and the water stains in the headliner (the sun/moon roof had been replaced previously, due to a leak). We ordered the APIM computer from another dealer who very kindly gave us a discount (Jacky Jones Ford) and had them do the installation. We ended up paying roughly $1400 for the repair and a missing trailer brake that should have come with the truck since it had a trailer tow package. We believe this should have been covered under our 3000 mile 3 month warranty since we just bought the vehicle less than three weeks ago. More

Finance tried to slip in extended warranty and wheels and tires on the contract. We never even discussed it. Sales tried to sell me some customer value package and some other plan and told me it was mandator tires on the contract. We never even discussed it. Sales tried to sell me some customer value package and some other plan and told me it was mandatory. All that totaled to over 5k. I told sales I’m not buying it. Be carful when dealing with this dealership. The service department is great. This dealership has changed and it’s not good business practice. More
