I initially brought the car in on December 30 because of a warning light. Despite making the appointment online, no technician was able to look at the car that day. I brought the car back on January 5 and needed a loaner car - which the dealer did not provide - but did offer their price at Enterprise for a car rental. I asked at the time if the dealer would pay for the rental if the repairs were under warranty and was told yes. No one looked at the car for 2 days (I could track through the Hyundai app to see it was sitting in the lot). I spoke to Sammy Jo and by the end of the day someone had looked at the car and diagnosed the faulty sensor issue. The car was repaired on January 9 and I immediately drove to the dealer and dropped off the rental (as per their instructions) and picked up my car. I was surprised to see that I was charged $236.75 for the rental.
I made several phone calls and send text messages to the dealer and NO ONE RETURNED ANY OF MY CALLS OR TEXTS.
Very professional.

What next, our new vehicle just goes into gear, and takes off, when just starting! It needs yet another transmission, but I guess I'll have to wait until it strands us,or it just takes off and crashes into something or someone before anything gets repaired.

The first two times did not resolve the issue. Returning for service was not a good use of my time and as the saying goes "fool me once, shame on me.....fool me twice , shame on you !!" I don't know exactly where to point my ire; is it the service technicians, is it the service department or is it a Hyundai design flaw. The cost of the attempt at second repair was covered by Tamiami Hyundai, the cost of the third repair attempt was split between myself an Tamiami Hyundai. Never the less, the entire sequence has been frustrating.

It vibrates on idle and latch in the trunk doesn’t work to lay the seat flat. I took it back to them explaining that it had to be a starter issue as the battery was fine and key fob was working. They replaced the battery two days later and told me that I was on my own. Here’s the kicker, the service report says that I reported a dead battery. The problem became even worse after that. It went from being an intermittent problem to the car not starting at all. Now the car sits in the driveway unable to start. I have a car payment due next month on a car that’s not even drivable unless I sink even more money into it. Now I wonder what else might be wrong with this car.
