All in all—and despite the fact that we ended up with a high interest rate on this visit—our second experience at Toyota went very well. He was incredibly clear in his explanations; even though Federico translated for us, we understood everything perfectly—which was a huge help, as our English isn't very strong. This dealer overcharges by a lot, even considering they have trained technicians and OEM products for all their work. WORST SERVICE EXPERIENCE EVER. Toyota of Ann Arbor provided service on 12/12/2025. Invoice Item B lists a 27-point inspection as complete. No inspection report was included in my paperwork. The same day I emailed Lamont Howard (Service Advisor) requesting a copy but received no response. The following week I sent another email and several voice messages to Lamont and to Michael Cooper (Service Manager) and even to Chris Low (General Manager)--nobody responded. I received a response from an Internet Service Assistant I’d contacted. She assured the report would be emailed but almost 4 weeks later I still do have it. I’m suspicious the service was never performed even though it’s on the invoice. I can't verify that but neither have they supplied me with a report to confirm the service was actually done. It's disturbing because it begs the question how many items appear on invoices that weren’t actually completed? Did I even receive the oil change I paid for? My only recourse is to directly contact Toyota Customer Service and possible the Secretary of State and Attorney General. More
