I’ve recently purchased at Cx-5 at Sports Mazda and thrilled with my new car. It was by accident that I stopped here after visiting another dealership earlier that day. Although I had no anticipation t thrilled with my new car. It was by accident that I stopped here after visiting another dealership earlier that day. Although I had no anticipation to purchase another Mazda, I was given such a great deal. I met the nicest sales associate, Luis Hernandez, that provided me with such great service, I couldn’t say no. He worked up a great deal with the sales manager and within an hour, the transaction was completed. Even though my purchase was completed with the dealership past its closing time, he filled up my new car and took his time to explain every detail and assisted me with my Mazda app set up. I’ve had countless vehicles and feel experienced when purchasing a vehicle, there are not many people that would provide excellent service as he did. My only negative feedback, and a typical occurrence for any dealership is the financial portion of it. I paid slightly more for various fees, additional down-payment and pressure to purchase gap insurance. Although I understand the risk associated with a possible loss, I didn’t want to purchase this item. But unfortunately, I was reminded at least 3 times on why I needed this and caved in as I do not want to continue haggling. However, I was given the opportunity to remove this gap at a later date, but now the amount is financed throughout the term of the lease. Bottom line, I could have simply continued to say no. Luis did contact me the following morning and I’ve expressed my remorse for the overages and provided options that may provide some relief. I understand that not everything works out perfectly and I am overall happy with my purchase. In a few more months, I will gladly be returning and upgrading our second vehicle with this dealership. More
