I experienced a classic example of poor services after the s The services I received from Jim Ellis Chevrolet was worse than I could have ever imagined. Had I known that services after the sale at the dealershi The services I received from Jim Ellis Chevrolet was worse than I could have ever imagined. Had I known that services after the sale at the dealership were so poor, I would have paid more for the truck I purchased in December 2019 from one of the many other locations in Metro-Atlanta. Since the purchase, I have returned to the dealership for the first oil change that took 4 hours. Three weeks later, when the truck would not crank, I had it towed to the service center to get it repaired. Before the tow, two teams from the Roadside Assistance had tried and were unable to start the truck. Anyway, the truck was at the dealership for over 24 hours, and according to the invoice, they only had to perform a reset to start it. Since I do not know what caused the no start issue, I am not comfortable with the truck. For that reason, I have contacted the Service Manager to get more detail, and he has not returned my calls. Now you understand why I will not do any more business with this dealership, nor will I recommend it to anyone else. More

Luis was very professional and polite. He has a passion for what he does. He's very detailed when explaining what your automobile needs. He called me daily to informed me about my car. I had my 1992 Silverado towed to your facility because it wouldn't start. Before I had it towed, I had to get pre-approval from a manager because of the age of my vehicle. After the vehicle was towed to your wouldn't start. Before I had it towed, I had to get pre-approval from a manager because of the age of my vehicle. After the vehicle was towed to your facility, I received a call from Luis and he said I needed to leave a $600 deposit before you would even look at my vehicle. I was very upset because you didn't tell me this until after you had my vehicle. I talked to Brandon Colon; I didn't appreciate things he said to me. He was condescending. He basically said because my vehicle was so old I might abandon my truck if it cost too much to repair. I told him that I had received approval to bring my vehicle in. He basically said I was lying and hadn't received approval. He told me to pay the $600 deposit or come get my vehicle. I told him I would have my vehicle towed to another repair facility. However, I thought about it and told him I would pay the $600 deposit. Brandon would not accept my credit information over the phone. I had to drive to your facility to pay the deposit. The clerk accepted my credit card without checking my identification. I believe Brandon purposely inconvenienced me. The vehicle was checked out and the mechanic was able to get it started quickly. When I came to pick my vehicle up, there was a problem with the payment. The manager on duty had trouble understanding that I had given your facility a $600 deposit and was due the balance of my deposit. It was clearly written on the ticket that I was due the balance of my deposit. After two managers couldn't seem to understand what was going on, they called Luis at home. I was treated like a dishonest person. I've had my vehicle repaired at your facility before with no problems. Overall, this was a very bad experience. You have good mechanics, not so good management. For the record, I am a gainfully employed, college educated professional. I can afford to pay to have my vehicle repaired. I will be in the market for a NEW vehicle soon. I will get a new pickup or SUV. I will not be purchasing it from Jim Ellis. More
