Macks the Man I think that the experience was great the staff was very helpful and they got us approved with not so good credit. I really think that if you are in need of a car then these guys will do everything they can to get you into your next ride. Mack McKinney worked with us and stuck by us the whole way through. If your looking for a guy that will be honest he's your man. Matter of fact, we went there for my wife's new car, (Ford Fusion), and we will be going back for my car next (Ford Mustang). We had a long approval wait due to the credit situation, however the lobby is like going to a sidewalk carnival with tons of snacks. I give them 4.5 stars overall. More

The greatest vehicle buying experience EVER! I wanted to express my complete satisfaction in my recent Ford F150 purchase at Machens Ford in Columbia. Vehicle replacement has always seemed to be I wanted to express my complete satisfaction in my recent Ford F150 purchase at Machens Ford in Columbia. Vehicle replacement has always seemed to be a pain in the rear, with incessant back and forth haggling to make a deal that seems way out of reach. Not here, no sir. I was pleasantly greeted by phone and in person by one of their knowledgeable sales team member, Mack McKinney. I told him by phone what I was interested in, what my trade looked like and met up with him later in the day. He toured me all around the sales lot, but we didn't have the exact model in the year I was looking for. I thought I was done, HECK NO! Mack put together a deal for me in the exact model I was looking for, but in a year NEWER and in my budget! Mack didn't fool around with dealing, HE DIDN'T HAVE TO!! He gave me a deal on this new Ford that was better than I could have possibly expected. After a 'handshake on the deal', Mack then acquainted my with his Finance expert, Russ Partidge. Russ walked me through the finance options available, pointed out some factory incentives available to me, and put together a plan that met my budget and didn't cause me any anxiety doing so. All in all, this was the best car buying experience I've ever had, and hope to become acquainted with the fine dealership's service team to care for my day to day maintenance needs. These guys make car buying a piece of cake, THANKS SO MUCH! More

Sold a known lemon car with no resolve to problem Car we purchased was a lemon -- still is -- been in the shop now three weeks. Buy elsewhere. We were told it was gone through by their (Machens) machanics and "there were no issues with this car." Well it has issues -- so bad that the dealership I took it to (not Machens) has called in Ford engineers from Michigan trying to fix it. My husband worked with the salesman, however I purchased the car (in my name and my name on the title and the loan -- the salesman never notified me it was a lemon. In fact, I could not even get him to return my calls. Almost didn't get the loan done because no one would call the lending agency. Made six phone calls to get someone to call the lending institution. I thought we were past "not dealing with women", but not at this dealership. Only the finance manager was honest with me and said "someone should have told you about all the problems this car had." Well, Machens is big and doesn't care -- got another car sold -- that's all they care about -- well, you won't see me back. I'm trying to get Ford to take this car back and if so, I'll buy from some other Ford dealer. More
