We picked out the certified preowned Odyssey online and made an appointment with Malik for the next day. When we got to the dealership the car was pulled up and we were able to immediately go test drive. M made an appointment with Malik for the next day. We found a car at this dealership online, started the purchasing process, and had everything in place, to where all we had to do was go to the dealership, sign the paperwork and leave with the new car. T purchasing process, and had everything in place, to where all we had to do was go to the dealership, sign the paperwork and leave with the new car. The salesman, Malik, called us, told us everything was ready and we told him that we would be there within the hour, due to our location being on the other side of Fort Worth from the dealership. We get to the dealership, sign the intent to purchase form, our salesman goes to the manager, comes back and tells us someone had just bought our car. They sold the car out from under us, knowing we were on our way to sign everything. My husband posted a review on their Facebook page, and another gentleman responded saying the same salesman, Malik, did the exact same thing to him, about 2 weeks prior. Apparently this is a common practice for this dealership and salesman. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS!! However, I do have to thank them. We found the exact same car with less miles, for less money and got a 8 point lower interest rate at another dealership in the metroplex. So had they not sold the car out from under us, we wouldn’t have been able to find the much better deal somewhere else! More
