I tried to call Mr. Carlin, but he was not available. I bought a 2024 KIA Seltos last Saturday. My husband and I love the car, but are very dissatisfied with the process. I wrote a negative review, First, we were not notified of the “Market Adjustment of $7096 above the $26,640 MSRP until the very end. If it was posted on the car we didn’t see it. We asked 3 employees to explain this to us. Will, our salesman said it was because of COViD. Manny, his boss, said it was to pay for extras like lifetime warranty, etc. the Finance Manager said she didn’t know. We were originally told that the lifetime warranty was an incentive to buy the car. Will was very nice and we liked him. Manny was aggressive, condescending and confrontational. He said “you bought the car didn’t you, so you must be ok with it”. And that he heard I called him a liar, which I did not. After 4+ hours we were tired and just wanted to go home. We feel,deceived Secondly, we wanted to pay cash. They all said that we couldn’t get the $1,200 rebate and the $500 military discount unless we financed the car. We were not told this until the very end. They said we could just pay the first month, then pay it off. Still we will be paying some interest. Again, we felt deceived.
