We appreciate your business and we understand your concerns. It appears you looked at a few vehicles for your daughter, and the one you selected did have an open recall on it. This vehicle was in our inventory for less than 10 days; in which time we had to service, detail, photo, and recondition the vehicle. Unfortunately, there was not enough time to send the vehicle offsite for a scheduled appointment to complete the recall prior to you coming to look at it. With the speed in which vehicles have been selling, this is not an uncommon event. This is why we have any client purchasing a vehicle with an open recall sign a form acknowledging that there is a recall currently open, and the client understands that they can remedy this at their convenience, free of charge. This is done to ensure there is no miscommunication at time of purchase, just as we did with you. We mentioned that we were unable to complete the recall in the short time we had the vehicle in our possession at the time of purchase. This seemed satisfactory at the time of purchase, we are sorry that this has since changed. With regards to the title inspection, there is nothing safety-related in that. All a title inspection does is verify that the VIN on the title matches the VIN on the vehicle. These are required when a title needs to be moved from state to state. The vehicle you purchased had a payoff, and we were unaware the title would not arrive as a NE title. This title did not arrive until after your purchase, which is when we sent it to you. Perhaps in the future we can offer some logistical support to help facilitate title inspections for clients who live in the Omaha metro area. We will certainly strive to continuously improve the customer experience. We appreciate the constructive critique with regards to this and apologize that we did not have the vehicle longer prior to selling it. If we had, these items would be non-existent.

In regards to the recall my point is that I was the one who pointed this out not anyone there. It may not have got accomplished or gone unnoticed without me saying something. Only after I said something then an extra paper was sent out for us to sign to cover your oversight. In regards to the timeline maybe you shouldn’t be so quick to sell a vehicle until making sure all is complete like having title in hand, recalls taken care of and not just wanting to make a sale.
