I find it funny that I have to put full synthetic oil in my 2023 forester when I change my oil every 3.5k miles. $98.00 for oil change. Thank you for taking the time to share your concerns with us. This particular oil has special inhibitors specifically designed just for Subaru to prevent engine war and oil consumption abrasion issues, allowing your Subaru to provide the best efficiency and performance. Based on the owner’s manual, in severe conditions where cold and road salt is used, it is recommended that a synthetic oil change be done at 4000 miles. We apologize if this was not clearly explained.
