Horrible Experience. On Jan 20th we bought a 74K truck from Cedar Knolls. Everything was fine when they were taking our money. On Feb 9th I began asking the dealership for info. I called PennDOT. They had no record of the truck registration being processed. Salesman Will Sharpe took my call that Fri. He stated he would call back w info. He never called back. Called again late in day Fri. He repeated that he would call when he gets info. Called Monday Feb 12th , Mr. Sharpe would not return my calls. I Called PennDot again. They had no record of registration transfer being processed. Feb 13th called again Asked for Sales Manager Leonard Clarke. He did not have the courtesy to get on the phone with me. He told the rep. that answered the phone that the registration would be in either today the 13th or tomorrow Feb 14th. I also asked for the general Manager Anthony Ciarlo . I was told he was not in. The registration did not arrive. Feb15th called PennDOT, they had no evidence of the registration being processed. Also called NJDMV they also had no evidence of anything being processed. I called several performance dealerships trying to reach a district or regional manager. Finally I reached a rep. who took my info. and stated she would look into it. Feb 15th at 3:55p.m. General Mgr. Anthony Ciarlo called me. Gave him info. He Stated this is the first time he was hearing of this issue. I Explained I could not drive the truck after the 18th because of the expired temp NJ tag. He stated he sent an email (an email?) to their licensing dept., he is awaiting a reply. Feb 16th I again called looking to speak with a regional district manager. No luck. I did receive a call from VP Steve on Feb 16th at 4:55p.m. I gave him all the info. and he stated he would contact me on Tuesday Feb 20th with an update. He did state that the paperwork was just sent out on 2/15/24. That is 26 days after the purchase of the truck. (really?). Feb 20th. VP Steve never called as promised. I did receive a call from a rep. mid afternoon that they had just received the registration. I asked that she overnight mail it to me since I currently could not drive the truck since Feb 18th. She stated she would. I received a call from GM Anthony Ciarlo, late that afternoon, asking if I received a call about the registration. I told him I did and again explained my frustration with the complete and total lack of customer service by his dealership and everyone involved. I did not receive the registration until Friday late afternoon Feb 23rd. I was not able to drive the 74K truck I purchased on Jan 20th for 5 days. Unbelievable! The service after the sale provided by this dealership, at all levels was abhorent. More

Jaylex stated that the employee that performs registration quit and they are now backed up. Then was told by manager Will that I was notified on numerous occasions they were missing corp code number. So basically was sold a vehicle without this information which was false. Sales manager introduced himself calling me a liar when I advised of lower price at different GMC Dealer on day one. Should have walked away! Will never recommend a purchase from Performance Buick GMC Period!!!!! More

From sales, ESPECIALLY Yared, to the sales manager Lenny, to the finane department, everyone was extremely easy to work with. Lenny really did his best to help us acquire the vehicle we wanted at the right p to the finane department, everyone was extremely easy to work with. Lenny really did his best to help us acquire the vehicle we wanted at the right price, and respected our budget without pressuring us to change it. Yared, I mean I can't say enough. It is rare to find such a genuine salesperson. Most just care to make a sale.. Yared's concern was to make me happy. That meant more to me, and that is the kind of genuine professionalism that will keep me working with him if I ever need another vehicle from this dealership or if I know anyone looking to be referred to someone trustworthy.
