Yes, my Jetta, GTI and I have had a wonderful 14 year relationship and I was sorry to trade it in. But, time and tide dictated the purchase of a new car and I went back to Mohegan Lake Motors. I was given a car finance rate that can't be beat and I am happy with my new Jetta. If I have the opportunity to buy another car, guess where I'm going? More

The car was basically loaded with everything except a backup camera and navigation. Steve had showed us a number of Jettas, and just to ensure that is what she wanted, showed us Passat's and even a CC. Very patient salesman, and does not pressure you at all. He wants to make sure you make the right choice for you. He touted the safety of the vehicles, and after doing my own research, found that he was not stretching the truth. Additionally, he also only showed us cars that were only in our budget, as well. After you get done with the salesman, you move on to the manager, after you try and negotiate your best deal, and Mark, the Sales Manager, went to as low as I honestly believe he could have. Now it's off to the Business Manager, Benjamin. I was going to secure outside outside financing from my credit union, but Benjamin got me a better interest rate, and the financing included GAP insurance, which my credit union was going to charge me $250.00 for. I am honestly a huge pain in the xxx when I'm about to spend a lot of money on a vehicle, and all involved at this dealership were very accommodating and patient. Even the owner of the dealership spoke to us to make sure we were getting what we wanted. We were so pleased that we returned in March to buy a Tiguan for my wife. The only reason I gave a 4 vice a 5 in the price category is that Volkswagen's are generally more expensive to buy and own than other brands, but you get what you pay for. We'll see. More

I was pleased with my 2011 VW Jetta, which I did not lease from this dealer, but when I moved to the area I needed a closer dealer for service visits. Service was fine, most things were under warranty due to the terms of my lease so I didn't have to pay for much. At times it was difficult to get a service appointment that worked with my full-time work schedule, so I would have to leave the car the night before and pick it up a day or two later when it was finished (note that if I didnt have a second car this would have been FAR more inconvenient). But the biggest issue, the one that completely ruined my opinion of this dealer and Volkswagon forever, was when I returned my leased vehicle after termination of the lease. A VERY expensive item, which I overlooked when cleaning out the car and failed to remove (I take responsibility for my part in forgetting) was stolen - in fact, I called in a panic barely 30 hours after dropping off the car and the item ($700 Chanel sunglasses) were already "missing". However, my real problem is the lack of concern or customer service with which the situation was handled. As a customer of theirs for 3 years I expected them to actually CARE, or be EMBARASSED that one of their employees was a thief. Instead I was met with a total lack of concern, fingerpointing, mis-information, and basically calling me a liar, even though I made it clear right from the start that I was not asking for money and I that I knew I would likely never see the glasses again. The perfect recipe for WORST salesperson I've ever encountered - and I work in sales! Don't keep anything in your car when taking it for service here, better yet, take your car somewhere else! I've gone over to BMW where they seem to know a thing or two about taking care of the customer. More
