So I was looking for another EV to downsize into. I saw that Crain Hyundai of Fayetteville had what I was looking for. Smaller but fun EV, a 2022 Mustang Mach-E. I’ve had bad experiences with Crain twice now, so maybe 3rd time is the charm, right? Man, I was wrong. So I went there on Monday, the 22nd, and traded my 2025 EV Equinox. Sounds pretty simple, right? Nahh. There were some paint imperfections on the hood and back driver fender that were agreed to get fixed, along with me getting them the 2nd car key to my car, and they would give me a 2nd key to the Mach-E. They told me to come on Thursday because their paint guy works then. Okay, no big deal(at least right now). My salesperson says either come at 7 so that service can give me a loaner, or come at 9, and he can take care of getting me a loaner. So I enjoyed the car for a few days. Thursday rolls around, I get there at 8, and the service department tells me that if it sells, they’re going to give me a loaner, and they will have to take care of it. I’m like, ok, I’ll wait till 9 then. Thinking to myself, all this is Crain Hyundai, that they're supposed to work as a team, but it seems like they're just working in their own section, not helping others. An hour later, it’s 9, and sales start rolling in, so I walk over through the inside of the building from service to sales. I opened the exterior door that goes to sales, and boom, the door hits something, and I almost hit myself with the door. The side of the building where they are doing construction has a board at the top of the door that stops the door from opening all the way. Another salesperson helps me get through the construction zone to the sales. I get up at the trailer, and they ask me who I am waiting for, and I tell them TD. I wait… still waiting, and 15 minutes still waiting… So then, a nice person told me that TD was not going to be there and he would take care of me. They didn’t know where the 2nd key was to the Mach-E, and my garage door opener to come back on Friday for those, but they can go ahead and get me a loaner while waiting for the paint to get fixed. So while waiting for the loaner, the paint guy sees me and says my car will be done in 30 minutes. Then the salesperson got me a loaner, saying I could take it for a while, so then I did. I came back after a while, returned the loaner, went back to service, and looked for my car, and I found it. I saw that the drive back fender was still not repaired. The paint guy said it’s going to take a little bit more time for that, so you can come back some other Thursday to get it repaired, and I would have to pay for it. I’m like, xxx, that's the whole point of me getting a loaner. So I took back my partially completed car and left. I ended up working all Friday and called around 6:45ish, and he answered and he would talk to his manager about the brake fluid and see about my 2nd key, and he said he did have my garage door opener. So I said I would come by Saturday for all that, and he said he will be there and wait for me. So now Saturday. I got there, and they had my garage door ready for pickup, which another salesperson had given me. I almost told him I was here about my 2nd key and brake fluid checked or topped off. He said ok, please wait at the service, and they will look at it. So I waited in service for a while and saw TD there, and he said he would check about the 2nd key. I’m like great. So after some time passes, TD comes back and says my car is ready. The brake reservoir was indeed empty, and they checked the brakes and topped it off. Then the bad news that they didn’t have a 2nd key, nor would they pay to get one made, and that came from his manager, even though from the beginning I would get a 2nd key. So that’s why I am making this review of Crain Hyundai to warn others about this, and not to agree to anything without them proving that they do, and I won't be coming back again. More

Drove 2. 5 hours to purchase a Ford expedition that I was told “drives great, no issues, etc” come to find out the motor sounded like someone was beating it wi 5 hours to purchase a Ford expedition that I was told “drives great, no issues, etc” come to find out the motor sounded like someone was beating it with a hammer, tires were completely wore out and needed an alignment, missing hubcaps, etc. I was convinced these issues would be fixed after I purchased and given a rental. I decided I didn’t want to go through with it because of the dishonesty from the front and then the many horror story reviews. Finally after MANY phone calls and arguing i got my old car back and moved on. Best decision I could have made. Save yourself some trouble and go elsewhere. More
I have bought 2 vehicles here. I brought my car in for repair with a scheduled appointment. They told me it was NOT my air conditioner and they would call me by noon. Again no phone call. Monday August 7th I call and they tell me they ordered parts but it WAS my air conditioner. It would be ready in 3-5 days. I asked for a loaner and was told daily we don’t have any available. Now it is Friday August 11th and I called and Olivia told me that the service manager would call me back. AGAIN NO PHONE CALL. I have been without a car for 10 days, have no idea what’s wrong with my car, or when it will be done. I am a nurse and my shifts are critical and I have no vehicle. I am single and don’t have anyone to help. I will NEVER buy another vehicle from them or let their service department touch my vehicle. It has been the worst service. I am still without a car! More
