This has been my best experience with buying a vehicle (I've bought 10+ cars/motorcycles so far in my 57 yrs). Between the customer service, dealing with the finance people and the prep support from the Service folks, I couldn't have been happier. I live in western Mass (where there are multiple Toyota dealers within a short drive) and was searching for a newer Toyota Tacoma, which I located at WRT (a 2 hr drive away). Their asking price was more than reasonable but I still tried to negotiate a bit. Marty was really easy to work with, dealt with my questions and requests on a timely basis, and was friendly, professional, open and honest. He and the rest of the WRT staff made what could have been a difficult situation (i.e., buying a car from out of state) relatively easy and facilitated the handling and exchange of the supporting paperwork, which limited the number of times I had to travel back to the dealership. WRT and Marty will be on the top of my list the next time I go to buy a car. More

I have been to several of them in search of an affordable used car and was disappointed by the attitude of salespersons at most places. Even had an experience of not taking the deal having seen their pretentiousness when I actually didn't mind the price. Especially when all dealerships are providing a diverse inventory, it does matter how customers are treated the entire time. Marty at White River Toyota has been really helpful throughout, patiently listening and most importantly providing a honest and friendly atmosphere throughout. I am a student, many of my friends have already purchased from here and I am sure more are on the way!! Keep up the good work and hopefully won't let us down in future!! :) More

He was no-pressure, but available and helpful when we needed it. He was endlessly patient with our process, and explained things clearly so we felt like we could make the right decision for us. It didn't hurt that Marty is a genuinely nice guy with a good sense of humor--when you're spending so many hours together, it makes a difference. And as a woman, I appreciated that Marty took both me and my husband seriously as equal partners in the decision-making process. Salesmen at other dealerships in the Upper Valley didn't measure up in this regard, directing all conversation, information, and eye contact solely to my husband. The dealership overall was welcoming and laid back, and we felt like we were in good hands through the entire process. White River Toyota doesn't need to tell you that they "do business differently" like so many other shops; they just do it. We loved being handed a plate and a lock box key and set free to drive anything on the lot on our own. We'd recommend White River Toyota and Marty Adams to anyone in the market for a great car and a great experience. More

I found the vehicle to be exactly as advertised. I have purchased many new and used vehicles over the past 25 years. I am a no xx kind of guy and just want to get in and get out without the all day back and forth. He made sure I knew all the details about the car I was looking at, gave me the confidence to make the decision I did and I drove off the lot with a 2017 Toyota Camry that I am absolutely thrilled with.
