One of the most unique things about 405 Motors is that they don't operate with the typical intense sales pressure of a used car dealership. We went to 405 Motors a couple times prior to actually purchasing our vehicle and each time we were very pleasantly surprised by the total lack of sales people putting the heat on as soon as we stepped onto the lot. Instead, we were able to check out any car on their lot, both inside and out, without a single person hovering over us, making a sales pitch. It really allowed us to look everything over and feel very comfortable with our decision to ultimately buy the car. We were able to test drive the car without heat from a salesperson as well. We simply went to the sales office and they grabbed an iPad photo of our drivers license and off we went. I cannot stress how much we appreciated the lack of pressure from any sales staff. The process of actually purchasing our vehicle was just as simple and hassle free. Another unique thing about 405 Motors is that they truly do have very fair, "no haggle" prices. It was very refreshing to walk into the office, knowing exactly what we would be paying for the car. We let them know we were interested, but that it hinged on our trade in value. They checked out our trade in and ultimately offered us a fair price based on their evaluations combined with the KBB fair range. We moved forward and the process was a breeze. I would highly recommend 405 Motors to anyone in the market for a very affordable, quality, used car. They have a fantastic selection and all of the people we worked with were very nice and helpful! They had four examples of the make and model I was looking for, all with low miles. I can’t say I took a survey of every car on the lot, but their business model appears to be to stock the lot with well-chosen, low-mileage cars at a reasonable mark up, then they let the cars sell themselves. If you want to be swarmed by commissioned sales people the minute you set foot on the lot, this is not the place for you. If you’ve done your homework and just want the keys for a test drive, you’ve found the right place. I found the prices indeed to be 5% to 10% less than what other dealers were asking for the same year/make/model/mileage/options. So, while I’m a buyer who really likes to haggle, the ‘no haggle’ approach worked for me. They appear to cut costs in the right places—no marble floors, a bare bones staff, and the lot is in a somewhat funky location way out in Woodinville, which by the way, could be saving you almost 2% in sales tax, as it did for me. If you prefer to put your money toward the vehicle you’re buying rather than the dealership’s overhead, again, 405 Motors is the right place for you. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable; wouldn’t hesitate to buy another car from them. More

The first car I bought from 405motors was a Lexus GX470. I am a very careful shopper and spent months finding the best deal after extensively researching vehicles. Compared to other dealers in Washington and Oregon, they simply offered lower prices for cars with less mileage and better history. Their honesty and integrity really set them apart from the other dealers that I visited. I preferred dealing with the staff at 405motors so much that when I was looking for a car that they did not have (Porsche Cayenne) I asked them to find one for me. I quickly got exactly the car and options I wanted, and it was obvious that they were looking out for my interests in the selection process. Just look at the inventory they purchase - it's clear they are shopping to provide good reliable value for their customers. It may be a result of having a family owned and run business (rather than hired salesmen fighting for commissions), but I wish there were more businesses run like 405motors where you feel good about the deal after you leave. I will continue to do business with them again in the future. BTW I have no affiliation with 405motors, other than being a satisfied customer. More
