26May2020 I dropped my Jeep with a check engine light on at Heritage Harrisburg. The Jeep drove fine minus the check engine light. I am told they need to replace the oil cooler, oil pressure sensor and plug at Heritage Harrisburg. The Jeep drove fine minus the check engine light. I am told they need to replace the oil cooler, oil pressure sensor and plugs while they are in there. The following day I am called stating I have a blown piston and Heritage Service Manager Art Fritz told me I would have to replace the engine at $6k to $9k. Heritage Service refused to release my Jeep for a 3rd party inspection without payment of $962 for the service. I reluctantly make payment and the third party looks at the motor and provide photographic evidence that Heritage Jeep mechanic dropped a bolt into my piston chamber and subsequently started my engine and blew my engine. Heritage Jeep Parkville Service Director Matt Beckman was responsive and helpful. He forwarded the situation to the MileOne Heritage Autogroup Insurance. The insurance company is replacing the motor but the GM at Heritage Harrisburg has failed to acknowledge or even respond to multiple attempts to contact him regarding recouping the $962 in parts and labor that is the direct cause of my engine failure. Not only has the GM failed to contact me, the service manager was directing me that the payment would be refunded through insurance and the insurance company states it needs to be paid by the dealer. Thus, I am still playing middle man with out my jeep and without my money back. I hope Heritage Jeep Harrisburg does the right thing by contacting me, refunding my money and apologize for the hoops I have had to jump threw for the past 5 weeks with my Jeep that you broke and tried to get me to pay to fix. Otherwise this is an example of failure at the mechanics level, service manager level and GM level. More

Swift, Professional Service Recently my 23 year old daughter had the unfortunate experience of her vehicle overheating while being out of town. She was somewhat familiar with the area as she attended school in Towson and remembered that Heritage Chrysler Jeep had helped her in the past. With that in mind, she requested AAA tow her vehicle to Heritage's service department. Upon arrival she explained her situation to Sarah who was kind enough to empathize with my daughters predicament. Matt, the service manager, explained to my daughter they would do the best they could to look at the vehicle and diagnosis the issue. During my daughters wait time Sarah kept her updated on the progress of the repair. To our relief, the tech was able to identify the issue and make the repair so that she was back on the road, all within an hour and a half! Thank you Heritage Chrysler Jeep for your swift service and for the personalized care you extended to my daughter. More

Parking Brake Service I couldn’t have my rear brakes replaced because of a parking brake issue. I called the service department of the dealership to set up an appointment. I couldn’t have my rear brakes replaced because of a parking brake issue. I called the service department of the dealership to set up an appointment. The appointment was set for 8am of a Friday which was perfect considering that’s my day off from a tiresome schedule. When I arrived to the dealership I was greeted by all the employees and asked by service department receptionist if I needed help. I explained to her what my issue was and she lead me to Matt Beckman. Matt explained the process that needed to be done in order to troubleshoot the problem and was sincere about the wait time. He showed me to the waiting room and assured me that when he got information on the problem that me would relay the issue and the proper repairs that needed to be done. Thirty minutes went by and for sure as he said he had news. He explained that the module needed to be replaced in order to have the parking brake released. He gave me my options for repairs that needed to be completed along with the pricing. I made a decision that was reasonable for my pockets at the time. The repairs were made and I went on to enjoy the rest of my Friday off. Matt was very professional and friendly. ??... More
