I had been looking for a used 2011/2012 Civic, and had been disappointed by a few ads that looked good, but by the time I contacted the dealer, had already been sold. When I called Harrisonburg Honda, they offered me a new 2012 Civic for the price of a used one. I guess it was an end of the year deal. I dealt with Matt Bentel, who was very friendly, helpful, and made the process easy, yet professional. Living in the NoVa area, I was glad to find prices slightly lower than dealers in the DC metro area. Great service and a good deal. I recommend Harrisonburg Honda. More

My wife and I recently decided to buy a new CRV, and we wouldnt purchase a Honda from anyone except Matt Bentel. The folks at Harrisonburg Honda are the most helpful and friendly of any car dealership I'v wouldnt purchase a Honda from anyone except Matt Bentel. My wife called to determine price of lease, and gave the salesperson the down payment we wanted to apply. We were quoted $239 a month for a 2012 CRV. We decided to lease rather than buy, and picked up the salesperson the down payment we wanted to apply. We were quoted $239 a month for a 2012 CRV. We decided to lease rather than buy, and picked up the car last week. To our pleasant surprise the monthly price on the lease agreement was $204, and we were told that Honda makes the first lease payment for us. Two days later we started receiving phone calls, there was an error in the paperwork. Long story short, we met with the salesperson and business manager who had a new lease for us to sign. Here were the errors: 1. Mistake in original quoted price, apparently $239 was an error. 2. Honda America does not make first payment on CRV, this was also in error. 3. Lease agreement had one too many zeros to the left of a decimal point. Our monthly cost had gone from $239 to $204.72, and now $289.24. The excuse given by both Yev Primbetov (business manager) and Bryan Horne (general manager) was that this would not have happened if the business manager was not off that day. There was no explanation given why the original quote of $239 was wrong. While I would make no presumptions, I can at least state that this is misleading. More

My husband and I were very pleased with our experience dealing with Harrisonburg Honda. There was absolutely no pressure and Matt (the salesman) and Yev (the finance manager) did a great job of assisting dealing with Harrisonburg Honda. There was absolutely no pressure and Matt (the salesman) and Yev (the finance manager) did a great job of assisting us in the process. We orginially planned to buy from our local dealership in Staunton (Valley Honda), but we were turned off by the amount of pressure applied to us. We were upfront with the people at Valley Honda about not wanting to buy that day and that we were just in the research process, but they hounded us and at least 4 people came over to apply different strategies of pressure. This was not the case at Harrisonburg Honda. Matt, the salesman, was very amicable and easy to talk to, and he never pressured us, letting us ask questions and decide the buying pace. We only dealt with him during the negotations and he was very considerate as to getting the price down to what I was willing to pay. Only when I made the committment to buy did I interact with anyone else-- Yev, the financer, who was equally friendly and did not apply ANY pressure. The only negative to the experience was the wait to meet Yev (one hour), but Matt let me get on his computer so I could get my fianances in order...and later go web-surfing. The wait took so long because we were in a long line of happy customers purchasing vehicles...a good thing which speaks volumes for this business. We are happy to start our new family in our new-to-us CRV, and we feel that if we need an upgrade or new car in the future, we would jump at the opportunity to work with Matt, Yev, and Harrisonburg Honda again. More

We are very pleased with Harrisonburg Honda. Our salesman, Matt Bentel, was a joy to work with. He was very informative, very nice and honest, and worked hard for us. He was easy to be with for the time we were there, and we felt we knew him for ages. He took our car out in the dark, cold, rainy evening to fill it with gas and wash it for us as well. The showroom was very clean and organized and had a nice area for our son to play and pass the time. Thanks to all we dealt with as well. We searched and researched Honda dealers for 8 months before making a purchase of a new Accord. We found our Sales Person, Matt Bentel, to be a very honest, friendly and professional.
