Over the weekend, we purchased our second Accord from Harrisonburg Honda. While I never felt "pressured" to purchase anything, at some points, I felt that communication could have been better as some was done through email, text and phone. When we came back to purchase the vehicle, Johnny was with another customer and EC help us get exactly what we wanted. During our time with EC, I felt that he really did a great job of explaining everything and making us feel comfortable with the purchase. I really appreciated him working with us from start to finish and not going between us and other customers; it made me feel like we were important and not just another sale. Overall, our recent experience at Harrisonburg Honda was great. More

If you're shopping for a car, I highly recommend buying one here. I recently purchased a Honda Civic here at an amazing price. Chuck Nickols responded very quickly and efficiently to my questions on buying one here. I recently purchased a Honda Civic here at an amazing price. Chuck Nickols responded very quickly and efficiently to my questions online and was very kind. I initially had some trouble getting a loan here( I'm young and don't have anything substantial in my credit history yet), but they went out of their way to contact different loaners so that I could get the car I wanted. They were able to get me a loan with an insanely low interest rate! I'm glad I bought my car here. More

I rated Harrisonburg Honda as high as possible because of overall quality in customer service, employee knowledge, and the fact that this dealer has the best level of professionalism that I have seen in comp overall quality in customer service, employee knowledge, and the fact that this dealer has the best level of professionalism that I have seen in comparison to other car dealerships I have dealt with. This is the third Honda Civic I have purchased through Harrisonburg Honda and my sales associate yesterday, January 17, 2014, Derek Pyburn, was very helpful, patient, personable/friendly, efficient, polished, informed, perceptive, and witty. Derek was able to capture my attention during the periods of down time during the deal process. Mr. Pyburn answered every question I had to the fullest extent and made sure that my needs were taken care of. On a scale of 1 to 10 where 10 is the highest rating, I would rate Derek as a 10 overall. What a great asset to your company, he is!! I also worked/spoke with a few other employees at this dealership. Sales Manager, Eric Blosser - was real and honest with me and I really appreciate that. He had my best interest in mind and I respect him because of it. Sales Manager, EC Shifflett - has a wonderful personality and a great flow. He definitely knows business. Business Manager, Matt Bentel - has worked with me before in 2008 during the purchase of my second Honda Civic. He is great at what he does because of his expertise and experience in his position. General Manager, Bryan Horne - has worked with me before in 2008 as well. He is very professional and understands the needs of the customer. Although I didn't work with any of the service department employees yesterday, I would like to mention that in the past, Larry, Doug, and Misty always made sure that everything my car needed was taken care of. Another one of the reasons that I wanted to come back to Harrisonburg Honda with my business. I want to thank Harrisonburg Honda for their loyalty to me as a customer and again, level of professionalism. This is, by far, the best dealership I have ever had the pleasure of doing business with. I bought a new Honda Fit from Harrisonburg Honda and I had an absolutely wonderful experience. After emailing Chuck with questions I received a quick, and friendly response about the cars available on the had an absolutely wonderful experience. After emailing Chuck with questions I received a quick, and friendly response about the cars available on the lot and the options that were available for me. It was very reassuring to have my questions answered quickly and thoroughly, and with complete transparency. As a first time buyer I felt like Chuck and Matt worked hard to make everything very clear, and didn't try to tack on extras that I didn't need. I'd highly recommend this dealer, and I'll definitely be coming back in the future. Thanks guys for such a wonderful experience! More

Where do I start...okay, I knew exactly what vehicle I wanted and decided it would be best for my schedule to buy it during my holiday vacation. However, somehow the ball was dropped where I had just test wanted and decided it would be best for my schedule to buy it during my holiday vacation. However, somehow the ball was dropped where I had just test driven it and my request went ignored. Since I would be vacationing in the Harrisonburg area, I gave Harrisonburg Honda a call and a very courteous and interested Julius Wells answered. Unfortunately, they didn't have the car I wanted but I liked how they had a sincere desire to sell me a car, in other words, that I was being taken seriously. I stopped by and that's when I met E.C. Shifflett. They were able to beat the other price I had gotten and my loan rate as well. I went in there several times to say I'd have to go back to my original dealership though because at least they physically had the car (although I didn't think I'd get as good of a deal, rate or service). To make a long story short, they got my car (from afar) before I left (and it wasn't easy); and I drove away very happy. It was due to E.C.'s determination, creativity and hard work that got me that car and I can't tell you how much I admire those qualities. I'm thankful for the whole team I worked with there at Harrisonburg Honda including Matt Bentel the finance guy (he's so not scary at all!), oh, and of course, the Honda Cafe...very nice. More

We visited H'burg Honda, after test driving a used Ridgeline at a nearby dealership. Wanting to look at possible alternatives, we drove to H'Burg Honda. E C Shifflett greeted me inside the dealers Ridgeline at a nearby dealership. Wanting to look at possible alternatives, we drove to H'Burg Honda. E C Shifflett greeted me inside the dealership, and offered his help. He advised that he had a very nice certified, pre owned, Ridgeline in stock, and quickly showed us the truck offering a test drive. Our initial reaction, was that the much newer, lower mileage, certified truck, was beyond our budget. For the sake of comparison with the other Ridgeline, we decided to accept E C's offer to test drive. After the test drive, and some discussion regarding the advantages of choosing the Certified Pre Owned truck, E. C. "gave us some space". My wife and I talked some, and decided to make an offer. After some brief negotiating, our offer was accepted. Matt quickly worked us through the paperwork and we were out the door with a new (to us) Ridgeline. Very happy with the overall buying experience, and with the Ridgeline. Many thanks to E C, and Matt More

Chris was so helpful in finding a deal that would work in my price range, and worked diligently and with a smile on his face the entire time he was helping me. Antonio was one of the most upbeat and enthusiastic salesmen we have ever worked with - you can tell he really loves and believes in Honda and that he loves his job. Our Salesman, Rich Glovier, was polite, conscientious, and upfront throughout our search for a new CRV-EX-L. He (and Harrisonburg Honda) were competing against many of the local Honda big Boys i.e. Pohan and upfront throughout our search for a new CRV-EX-L. He (and Harrisonburg Honda) were competing against many of the local Honda big Boys i.e. Pohanks, Browns, Koons, and Honda of Dulles. All the other Dealers tried to play the Very Annoying Car Dealership games. Rich was different and his patience paid off. Kinda like he won The Royal Rumble even though others offered better prices, better rates, and were much closer to us! We were VERY please with the whole process with Harrisonburg Honda! More

We went into Harrisonburg Honda multiple times in our pursuit of a vehicle that was just right for our growing family. We had a specific list of wants, negotiables and non-negotiables. Each time we went, we were greeted upon entering, and given adequate attention. The sales staff worked hard to find exactly what we were looking for, helping us narrow down our list and even encouraging us to think beyond our list, to consider pros and cons of what we "wanted" to be sure we were satisfied. Richard was an excellent sales rep. Robert, a polite, non-pushy manager who listened to what we were asking and delivered on it! Nester and Zach stepped in to help out on nights we were there that Richard wasn't. Great teamwork! Being able to get the vehicle tagged at the dealer as well was a huge plus! Thanks Matt! This is our second purchase from Harrisonburg Honda and will remain our top choice if we ever need a car again! Thanks Harrisonburg Honda! More
