We had a very good experience working with Ricky and the staff at Pat Lobb Toyota! Ricky was very thorough and answered all of our questions with clear and concise responses. He made the experience very pleasant even when we had our three young kids in tow with us and was very understanding. Ricky went above and beyond to accommodate us and was one of the most pleasant vehicle buying experiences we have ever had, even with the chaos of having our three young kids with us. Everyone at the dealership that we interacted with was very polite and we felt like we were in good hands. We will definitely be back for future business! I went to Pat Lobb Toyota in McKinney to pick up a GAP insurance refund check that was supposed to be mailed in January 2025. After being bounced between Toyota Finance, the insurance company, and the dea insurance refund check that was supposed to be mailed in January 2025. After being bounced between Toyota Finance, the insurance company, and the dealership, Max in Finance finally discovered the check was never sent. I decided to pick it up myself and emailed him my updated address while on the phone. When I arrived, the front desk couldn’t find my check, and I ended up waiting over 30 minutes while staff were chatting. When Max and Tommy finally came to see me, their apologies were insincere, and it was clear they didn’t care about my time—one even said, “You got your check now.” I wasted almost 1.5 hours of my life dealing with this, and the check had been mailed to the wrong address. There was zero ownership or accountability for the mistake. Max was helpful initially, but the overall communication, attitude, and customer service at this dealership were extremely disappointing. I’ve bought two cars here before, but after this experience, I’m hesitant to return, especially once my salesman retires. More
