We were buying out our lease and the first "salesperson" Melissa was extremely helpful and transparent. We still had to wait almost 2 hours for the finance dept and that guy was the most unprofessional fina Melissa was extremely helpful and transparent. We still had to wait almost 2 hours for the finance dept and that guy was the most unprofessional finance person we have ever dealt with and this was our 6th lease. The buyout went from $14,300 to $17,200 and when I asked him to show me the math he kept talking about the monthly payments and interest and only when I kept insisting on seeing the full breakdown did I see that they added an extended warranty which was NEVER discussed ahead of time and he was nothing less than angry when i said we do not want that. He actually said in a very snotty tone "you mean you want to take the car as is, I would not recommend that!" Mind you, this is a 3 year old car. Then, when we were leaving he actually said "you know, this may change the terms of contract since you didn't take the extended warranty, you may be getting a phone call tomorrow". We had already SIGNED the contract as well as him so not sure how he was going to tell me that suddenly a signed contract is invalid but the tone in his voice was borderline threatening. In addition, he absolutely REEKED of cigarette smoke and it was almost unbearable. I will NEVER again do business with Toyota of Hackensack, I am not sure how this guy got hired but he is not the best representation of the company. I don't even know his name since he did not offer a business card or have his name displayed anywhere in the office but based on the signature on our contract it began with a J and we signed the contract on 09/17/20 More

I bought the car a month ago, they didn’t give me the second key of the car. Sales rep Melissa told me that I was going to get notification from the office when they got my key ready.
