Mike was very nice and accommodating, however originally brought the vehicle in just for the heater to be fixed and then they told me all these other things needed fixed. The truck is from 1981 so that’s go brought the vehicle in just for the heater to be fixed and then they told me all these other things needed fixed. The truck is from 1981 so that’s going to happen no matter where I go, however when I got the truck back the heater still didn’t work when they said it did, they also replaced the belts because my alternator belt snapped two days prior. The tech argued with me about the reason for the new belt squealing saying it was because of the power steering leak. I’ve been aware of the leak since January and it’s had two belts the entire time up until the day before the dealership. I am somewhat mechanically inclined, however I figured “Hey the dealership has to know what they are doing so why not have them do it.” I loosened the belt myself because the tech was reluctant to do it and like I said the belt stopped squealing. There was still the whining from the pump itself from it being low on Power steering fluid, however the belt squeaking had stopped which had me very upset with the dealership. The second time I got the truck back for the heater, the blower motor worked but the heater itself still didn’t. Me and my friend after our college class tore the dash apart and found that the truck was wired incorrectly, we wired it up to the heater core switch and now it work’s completely fine. Amazing in fact. So overall I had a good experience with mike however everything else was poor and extremely upsetting. Another positive thing though was that they communicated with me the entire time, although it was to tell me what else they found wrong with it and to tell me that I was wrong about the belt being too tight. And to put the icing on the cake when I got the truck back they left all the previous wiring onto the seat. More
