Last summer I bought a 2018 Ford 150 F with a lift and a supercharger added on to it from Chapman Ford in Scottsdale Arizona. Mike or Michael B was the salesman who helped me with the purchase. When I went supercharger added on to it from Chapman Ford in Scottsdale Arizona. Mike or Michael B was the salesman who helped me with the purchase. When I went in I told him what I was looking for and wanted in a truck. That is when he kept pushing the Ford 150 I bought onto me. He went as far to take a great deal off the sticker price, throw in a warranty and said the supercharger was the show of it all. Looking back I should have been skeptical of this, because there are only two reasons a car salesman pushes you into a car. One they know it’s not selling or two something is wrong with it. Fast forward about five months later the engine blew in the truck. I had to take the truck into the dealership where I learned they sold me the wrong warranty for my truck. The dealership had to cancel the warranty they sold me and had me sign a new one. Which made them come out of pocket to fix my truck for certain parts. It took them about two months to fix the truck. Once I got the truck back it was worse than when I bought it. It has taken the dealership about eight to ten times to try and fix the truck and they have failed to do so, each times it gets worse and worse. One time I got the truck back and smoke started to come out of the front of the car and the smell of gasoline started to fill the truck. I refused to drive the truck back to the dealership, so they had an employee pick it up. (Which wasn’t safe) This issue happened again two times after that. Around the fifth time of Chapman Ford trying to fix the truck I asked if I could do a straight trade for a different truck since they cannot fix the truck and it’s a safety issue. They told me no and I would be 30,000 upside down on the truck! I explained to them that they couldn’t fix and it’s not safe or reliable. The sales associate did not care. He was only trying to make a sale and started to get extremely aggressive and rude. When I told him if they can’t work a deal with me I would have to contact the Attorney General. This is where he got very upset and called me a liar and asked if I was going to tell the whole truth. Fast forward to now the last time they tried to fix the truck they had to send it to an outside source. About three days later the engine light came on, the truck stated to stale and smell like gas again. I called the service manager and explained the issue to him he was understanding not sure why the issue can’t be fixed. I told him how I wanted to trade the truck straight across since it’s a safety issue and he agreed with me. I know it is not his area to make that decision but is shows that there is an issue. The service department also suggested I take out the supercharger which is the main reason I bought the truck and why it was so expensive. They also suggest I take it out, but I would have to come out of pocket which is very expensive. When my fiancé Hanna Knight called the sales manager Jamie she was off putting and sent over a deal that made absolutely no sense. She said she would take care of the loan for the truck (which wasn’t true) when she sent over the paper work it said we would be upside down 26,000 on our truck and a down payment option of zero down, 15,000, or 25,000 which is ridiculous with an 8.9% interest rate so in total for a 47,000 truck I would be paying over 98,000 dollars at the end of it! Which almost is the cost of both truck put into one. When Hanna asked her she said well your truck lost value that’s how it works, but it’s not because they can’t fix the truck, and sold me a lemon. She tried saying they put their own money into fixing my truck which is a lie. She also told Hanna we won’t get into that in a dismissive manner. They sold me the wrong warranty and had to cover themselves. Chapman ford is shady dealership with no morals. More
