John We are in unprecedented times in the automobile business when it comes to the current state of inventory. From ordering to allocation, to the inventory we have on our lot. As a store that normally has 250-300 new vehicles our lot, we typically do not have more than 10. That being said, we are always up front with our customers on our ordering process and would like to recap the transaction - 1. Our system records when we contact customers. You were contacted several times after the sale. 2. Inventory allocation is constantly changing, when you want a certain configuration, it takes longer and is subject to change. 3. You stated that you also had this same problem with Nissan, that should indicate that this is an industry issue. 4. Mike has been with us for over 5 years and has a stellar customer service record. Contacted exactly twice. Second time you tried to sell me something I didn’t want. I was told I could order exactly what I wanted. Lie #1. Was never told anything about allocations. Mike told me three months, not the five he’s claiming now. Lie#2. Yes, I had the same issue with Nissan but they were upfront about it. You were not. I don’t care how long Mike has been with you. He’s an outright liar. As stated on another post, a typical sleazy salesman. Have a nice day
