Also, DO NOT put down a deposit on any special, premium, or other allocated car. I placed a deposit for such a vehicle more than 5 years ago and was told each year that "they were 80% sure that this was my year," and of course it never was. Later, right after COVID, I was told the same thing, but this time I was also told that if I even wanted to have a shot at the car I'd need to offer $75K+ above MSRP - HALF AGAIN THE BASE PRICE OF THE CAR. So desperate was I to get my dream car, I even agreed but STILL never was given a chance to buy. They will pretend to care about you, but they don't, and will sell the car to whoever offers the most money - even if they haven't been on a waitlist. Worst of all, their reassurance was so frequent and so believable that I turned down multiple opportunities to buy the same car, at MSRP, from several other dealerships, but stupidly turned that down because I believed their lies and I'm a fiercely loyal customer. I even convinced my wife to buy a car she didn't even want from this dealership just to reinforce that I'd be a long-term customer and increase my odds of my number coming up. What a joke. Your loyalty will not be returned unless it's backed by dollars. In the end I was strung along for 5 years, never really having a chance at the car I wanted, while being periodically offered other used cars, standard models, and even different used limited allocation vehicles I wasn't interested in, and which I wasn't allowed to test drive it. In the meantime, I'm sure many other buyers who were willing to throw money at them simply walked right up and bought the car I'd been promised year after year. If that's not you, don't shop here. It's where childhood dreams go to die. More
