I have always enjoyed helping customers with their buying decisions....I know it's an important process. Seeing a happy customer always makes my day! I was raised in Webster Groves MO, then moved to SO CALI in 1983 and stayed for 22 years, then moved back to my roots in St Louis. I have been in the car business since 1995 and started my career in Southern California. My wife was one of my first customers many years ago and we now have 6 children and 9 grandchildren. I am very easy going and enjoy music and play a few instruments including guitar and piano. I believe in "no pressure" sales when it comes to doing my job.

Mike Medlin deserves negative stars! ! We contacted Mungenast Lexus of St. Louis regarding a 2022 RX350 they had listed, being out of state buyers we asked a lot of questions and request ! We contacted Mungenast Lexus of St. Louis regarding a 2022 RX350 they had listed, being out of state buyers we asked a lot of questions and requested pictures of the exterior/interior and under that car. We were passed off to Mike Medlin when the questions and requests for pictures were too much for the other salesman. Mike assured us the car was Lexus Certified and in a condition that would warrant the rating and had read the notes. I had to call and ask Mike if he wanted our flight information for pickup at the airport, that should have been the first sign of our experience with Mike. We flew to St. Louis, Mike said he would have someone pick us up and I texted him when we landed. They were an hour late to pick us up! Mike said he doesn’t track flights and the Porter was told to be there at 2:15, we did arrive early due to a big tail wind. Upon arriving at the dealership, the Porter went to find Mike Medlin, he was just in his office with a serious attitude. He didn’t shake our hand just said the car is back in the shop. He was very irritated that we were looking the car over with great detail, as it was not in the shape Mike had reported. There was a great deal of rust, a black paint blob on the roof and a rear tire had a flap in the sidewall about the size of a quarter. Mike was very agitated and told us the car was no longer for sale and to leave the dealership at once. Super unprofessional….. After some discussion, the situation calmed slightly and Mike said he would replace that tire but nothing else! We took the car for a test drive. On the last look around the car, we found a hole and rub mark in the front passenger tire, it was also dated a year before the car was manufactured. We asked if they would replace 4 tires and remove the paint blob. I reiterated that it was a safety issue for the tires and it was an all-wheel drive. Mike said they would only replace one tire and nothing else. I again said this a safety issue! So, the major concerns are that this dealership was willing to send a car out their door with a major safety issue, tires! Also, to all the local and out of state buyers be aware of this salesman and dealership when it comes to basic customer service, transparency and safety. Walking away from Mungenast Lexus of St. Louis and Mike Medlin was the best thing we did. The worst customer service ever in my life! Plus, zero concern about selling a car that was unsafe to drive due to bad tires 1500 miles back home! I have pictures of the paint, rust, and tires. More

Mike Medlin provided superb assistance in obtaining our 2025 UX. Even though we came from Austin TX to pick it up and were at the Mungenast dealership for really only a morning, he went beyond what we nee 2025 UX. Even though we came from Austin TX to pick it up and were at the Mungenast dealership for really only a morning, he went beyond what we needed and we able to get on the road back home. He is a genuinely great guy to be around and knows the ins and outs of what is needed and how to accomplish such. Thanks much to Mike for his support. PS: although small, this is a great car and after 900 miles we can truthfully say so. More

I guess I was just lucky that Mike (Medlin) answered the phone when I called to inquire about a certified ES 300h. I got complete info on the vehicle quickly. I visited the dealership the next day to look the vehicle over and drive it. sat down with Mike to talk numbers and within 20 minutes had a deal that I was comfortable with. I made an appointment date and time to pick up the car. When we showed up to "pick up" the car we got the royal treatment from everyone involved. Mike, Susan, Bric and Nancy all made our experience really special. Thanks guys for a great day at the best dealership we've ever dealt with. More
