

I was born in upstate New York on Lake George. I have been married for 27 years to my wife Cheryl and both my kids, Nathan and Lauren, our teaching nearby in Loudoun county. Love to play the Drums. I started in the auto industry in 1980 as a night time clean up man, then moved on to painting cars for about 12 years and started selling in 1993. I love selling at Koons because there are no tricks just honest prices where we do everything we can to be upfront and I think customers appreciate that... My goal is to be as helpful as I can with all my customers weather they buy from us or not...

Will not ever shop with Koons again. Dont recommend this dealership!! From the time I said you have a deal to getting my car a week later. Very miss leading information they give. Make sure you read everything before you sign any documents or they will use deceitful tactics to get you to sign documents that you dont have to sign. No they dont have to run your credit if you have been approved by the bank. Car salesman Jason Robles was rude. Michael Palmer used words to manipulate me to sign papers for a credit check after I had agreed to say no. Even though I was approved by the bank. The dealership cannot beat the banks rate. Sent a letter to the manager Steve after a few days about my concerns, he did not offer a single apology. After 10 days, went to go pick up my car they did not have the hospitality to say thank you for the purchase nor greet me when I came to pick up the car. I done with KOONS. More

Koons Sterling Fords team was AMAZING! Our Product Specialist Arthur Norton was professional, kind, transparent and a pleasure to work with. Michael Palmer, Finance Manager came out to introduce himself to us remembering that he dealt with my husband on the phone leading up to our travel to DC to purchase the car. Samir Kerboussi, Finance Manager, was tech Savvy and accurate. He worked to get us the best possible payment and was very professional and respectful of our time. Matt Newman, New Sales Manager, came out to meet us and see us off as we had to travel back to KY after our purchase. He was professional, kind and very aware of making sure we had the most positive experience. Overall, we had the best car buying experience EVER at Koon Sterling Ford in Sterling VA. This meant the world to us as we were recently hurt in a car crash that totaled our car. We needed a flawless experience after trauma, and we received it! Thank you to all!!! More

I had my first scheduled service on my new 2020 Ford Explorer St on April 15, 2021. My service writer was Joey Stickman who I found to be extremely personable with excellent product knowledge. I explained to him that I had purchased the platinum service contract and he told me everything would be listed in the computer at the dealership under my name. He scheduled me for service at 11:00AM and explained to me what services would be performed on my car at this visit. He told me it would take about one hour and that he would have my car washed when the work was completed. Exactly one hour and five minutes later Mr. Stickman texted me to let me know my car was ready for pick up. I found all work had been completed in an excellent manner and my new Ford Explorer was cleaner when I picked it up after service then when I dropped it off. Mr. Stickman went over my car with me when I picked it up and explained all of the work that had been done. I received excellent customer service from Mr. Stickman and I am glad that I purchased the platinum maintenance plan from Mike Palmer in finance as there was no charge for me at this visit. Looking forward to my next visit at Koons Sterling Ford and I will definitely use Joey Stickman again as my service writer. More

Finally! I found myself in need of a vehicle at the beginning of this pandemic in ealry March.
