I had a routine oil change last week. At that appointment I was told there was a manufacture defect; my shock absorber was leaking so I would need a follow up appointment the following we At that appointment I was told there was a manufacture defect; my shock absorber was leaking so I would need a follow up appointment the following week covered by my warentee. My appointment for service was at 3:30 pm, 15 minutes after I had left the facility, I received a call indicating that they were backed up and there was no way they could service my car that evening, I was very frustrated and asked why didn’t they call prior to my appointment to reschedule or at least inform me upon my arrival? My options were I could reschedule or leave it overnight and they would do the repair first thing in the morning. I made arrangements to borrow a car for the next day. Fast forward next day, no call. At 12:30 pm I called Spitzer and was told yes, your car is done. No courtesy call upon completion, no apology about the inconvenience, not even a courtesy free car wash. I love my Honda, but am unlikely to return here for service. More
