Most times does good job. This time because they could not get oil read, they over filled with oil and had to drain. Now I have slight smell of oil burning. I had a battery problem at a nearby business. A wonderful service tech was sent within minutes. I was on my way home with a new battery within a half hour. Wow! Very disappointed:I had received a bid and Hudson Ford Very disappointed: I had received a bid and Hudson Ford for new tires for $621 includes valve stems, tire disposal, install, tax. I provided a copy Very disappointed: I had received a bid and Hudson Ford for new tires for $621 includes valve stems, tire disposal, install, tax. I provided a copy of the bid when I booked the work and I was given a date for when the could do the work. When the work was done the bill came to over $800 without any conversation about extra work being performed. This is the same set of tires I had put on this vehicle 59,000 miles ago. Hudson Ford also pushed my appointment out a week because they didn't get the tires delivered in time for my original appointment. Along with this they quoted new valve stems and gave me a lame excuse for why they hadn't installed them when the new tires were put on the rims. I've purchased 5 sets of tires from Hudson Ford for 4 different vehicles and this is the first time that I had billing like this. There wasn't another vehicle being worked on Saturday and now I know why. More

Based on my service on 12/10/20 I would highly recommend the Hudson Ford service dept! They did a clean job, oil, tire rotate, air filter. The attention to detail is very important to me and they met my exp the Hudson Ford service dept! They did a clean job, oil, tire rotate, air filter. I have owned 3 F150's from 2010-2013-2016. and for the most part i have been quite please with my experience. I have enjoyed bringing it back for normal service. Steady erosion of the small town feel from when it was Dave Holt Ford. "Corporateitis" seems to have set in. I am a long time customer and have had two Ford vans serviced there for years. Kevin has bee Dave Holt Ford. "Corporateitis" seems to have set in. I am a long time customer and have had two Ford vans serviced there for years. Kevin has been my main go-to mechanic and I trust him completely. Two recent experiences are examples of my fading loyalty. First was when the diesel fuel tank ruptured (1999 victum of underbody rust) and I was told I had to wait two weeks for an appointment even though I was steadily leaking fuel. I ended up ordering a replacement tank directly and having a nearby auto clinic install it and had the problem repaired days before the first "open appointment." Most recently, the van was having difficulty starting in colder weather although not true MN winter cold. Again, the local shop was quick to take a look and discovered one of the two batteries "needed replacement" as the cold cranking amps tested at 539, well under its 850 rating. These batteries were installed by Hudson on 8/5/2020 and well within warranty. Hudson tested the battery and based solely on the voltage (no CCA was checked) decided the battery was "good" and did not need replacing. I suppose I was going to have to wait until I was in the boonies and the van wouldn't start and AAA had to be called and then wait for an appointment at Hudson. Like I provided in a direct feedback to Hudson, this will cost them more money than me in the long run. More
