The first time I had service done on my 2007 Mitsubishi eclipse spyder GS it was done by an older gentleman that was excited to do the work,as he had not worked on one of these now getting close to a clas eclipse spyder GS it was done by an older gentleman that was excited to do the work,as he had not worked on one of these now getting close to a classic. Very professional and informative. The last time being at the end of the labor day weekend, I needed to have the emergency break repaired and a code diagnosis. I had done this myself before going to the dealership. Work began and a little time later the Tech showed me that the drivers side rear break drum was stuck in place by the parking break shoes presumably. Ok... they were more interested in doing a complete break and rotor install. Ok I get that but no effort was taken to address the cable issue other than that. The service engine soon light was about a very slight leak in the evaporation system. From the gas tank to the throttle body. No pressure test was done or any exploration done to find the leak, I was given a $5000,00 estimate to replace everything in the system possibly. My bill that day was over $300 dollars half of which was a charge for the diagnosis test I ran previously and stated that I had done so before scheduled my opponent. Same test is free at many car parts stores. What the shop did that day ecomplished NOTHING! I was charged a small fee for shop expenses ( they dint provide any oil or anything that was an expense to the shop. Except whipe some dust off my doors and clean the windshield with a cloth. More
