Pleased I came in to find out what to do with my 2016 Accord EX-L that was finishing up the lease term with no expectation of making deal at the time. Michell I came in to find out what to do with my 2016 Accord EX-L that was finishing up the lease term with no expectation of making deal at the time. Michelle Sanchez was great, showing me the options I had, making recommendations and running numbers under different scenarios giving me the big picture. Good and Bad New Car Purchase I contacted numerous Honda dealerships to lease a 2018 Accord EX-L and Stephanie Mejia contacted me from Hillside Honda. She worked very hard to get I contacted numerous Honda dealerships to lease a 2018 Accord EX-L and Stephanie Mejia contacted me from Hillside Honda. She worked very hard to get me a great deal and was a fantastic person to work with. I give Stephanie a five; she is great. Originally I planned to get the car a week later, but I watching the inventory go down. On Thursday they were down to three red and two white EX-L's. We decided we had to do something immediately. I emailed Stephanie and asked her to also give me a lease price on a 2019 EX-L. The 19 was only $155 more than the sales price of a 2018, so how much more could it be? Friday morning I got a message from Samira Khatun. She said that she was Stephanie's partner and Stephanie was not working Friday but she would help me. She told me that she spoke with the manager for the '19 and she said he would give it to me when I came in. Samira was also very nice and helpful. We went in and I asked for Samira. When she came down she handed me off to another sales person, which I was not happy with. The new sales person told me the only EX-L left was a red one, which we did not want. I asked her to please get the price on a 2019 EX-L. She disappeared and about fifteen minutes later she can back and said it would $90 a month more. That was unbelievable. That 2019 model was only $115 more than the 2018, they were going to charge $3,240 more for the lease. That was unacceptable. The only other choice was to go down one level to an EX. Besides not having the leather, there is a lot less equipment on the plain EX. I asked how much will it be and I was told it was the same price and same out of pocket. That is not right. I was ready to walk out but I am a Disabled Vietnam veteran and I do not have the energy to run from one dealer to another. I took getting ripped off because of how great Stephanie was. After I said I would take the EX, the sales person kept disappearing and we were just hanging. I asked when the car would put in service for the prep for us to go home. She just kept saying it is going soon each time asked and the car stayed in the same place. We were there for five hours. Another dealership to write off. More
