Hello! My name is Mike and I’m a sales consultant over here at Community Buick GMC! I was born, raised, and still reside in Oelwein, Iowa. The thing I’m most proud of is my 27-year-old son Brock who is getting married to a lovely young woman named Kristin in June of 2022. When I’m not at the dealership, you can find me in front of a television watching sports or out in the wilderness hunting and fishing. I’ve also been known to watch the occasional bird or two! After my time with the U.S. Navy, I started what has turned into a 20+ year sales career. In addition to sales, I’ve also done some construction and factory work as well as some bartending. That said, sales is my passion because it gives me the chance to build relationships with customers that last for generations. There is nothing like selling a vehicle to a customer and then having that same customer seek you out years later for a vehicle for their son or daughter.

Awesome service and such a friendly staff! I had been looking for a vehicle for several weeks, and had bad experiences with car dealers. I dreaded the thought of continuing to meet and talk to I had been looking for a vehicle for several weeks, and had bad experiences with car dealers. I dreaded the thought of continuing to meet and talk to car salesman and their pushy attitudes. I found a truck that I liked out of town, and instead of driving 45 minutes to find another car salesmen that would treat me like a sale and not a customer, I called first to test the water. What a surprise! I spoke with Eric who was friendly and easy to talk to. I decided to make the drive up. I was greeted by Mike, and he was the best salesman I have ever dealt with. I bought the truck, and the entire process was easy and friendly. We were even entered into a drawing for MLB tickets! Can’t thank them enough. Love the truck, Love the service. Well done. More
