Buying 2018 Odyssey Buying a car is as enjoyable as getting teeth pulled. You always feel like you are getting ripped off. However, this was as good an experience as to b Buying a car is as enjoyable as getting teeth pulled. You always feel like you are getting ripped off. However, this was as good an experience as to be expected, but they (as with all car dealers) are sales driven and they are always looking for a way to make you spend more. I visited a number of local dealers, most were absolutely horrible. The lying, switching cars, changing to higher prices, quoting prices with rebates you did qualify for, etc., makes one dread the whole process. However, Mohawk Honda was the best of all the local dealers I interacted with. They quoted me a price for a specific car and stuck to it. They were the most honest of all the dealers. I highly recommend them for that. Just be aware that they will still try to sell you extended warranties, and squeeze you on the trade in value (as would any dealership). They offered me $100 for my trade-in, but I sold it at Carmax for $700. I stuck to my guns and bought only the car with no extra add-ons or extended warranties, for a very satisfactory price. I would recommend shopping online and getting quotes from multiple dealers, and then use those quotes to make them come down in price. Just be aware that at every stage in the process they (all car dealers/finance people) will look for ways to add expense. I would highly recommend Mohawk Honda, but caution you to be a savvy shopper as well. I'd definitely buy another car there again. More
